  • Regulation Manager (Energy)

    About the role: The Regulation Manager is pivotal in ensuring Flogas meets its regulatory obligations and stays ahead of policy developments in Ireland. Taking lead for regulatory and compliance matters, you will manage a small team of analysts to deliver an effective and proactive function. You will represent and advocate for Flogas interests, influencing policy and regulatory agendas in Ireland, the EU, and other markets as needed. Lobbying and advocating Flogas's interests externally influencing the policy and regulatory agenda in Ireland, the EU and other markets as required. Representing Flogas's at relevant industry groups such as the Electricity Association of Ireland (EAI), IGG, GMARG, the gas Code Mod Forum, Smart Metering industry meetings, etc. Building and utilising good working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders Providing expert interpretation of market regulations and evaluate the commercial impacts of regulatory or policy changes. Managing and preparing robust responses to various regulatory and policy consultations from various stakeholders which will include, but is not limited to, the CRU, Government departments, gas and electricity system operators and network owners. Leading the team in effectively handling day-to-day queries from regulators, preparing reports and analyses in responses (including financial insights where required), maintaining relevant logs and managing submission of regular reports, and informing the wider business where relevant. Monitoring changes to and the implementation of EU and domestic legislation. Managing an internal regulatory compliance audit programme and take responsibility for any external regulatory audits. Work in line with existing team processes and suggest improvements to processes and procedures to ensure continued effectiveness. Drive the continued improvement and operation of a compliance management framework, including policies, processes and procedures, for use across the business. Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate has a minimum of six years of experience in a similar role within the energy industry, although equivalent experience in another regulated industry will be considered. They possess a deep understanding of the broader Irish and EU energy regulatory landscape. With excellent communication skills, they can explain complex policy and technical changes at all company levels. The candidate has strong commercial acumen and the ability to make sound regulatory strategy decisions that align with company goals. They have demonstrated the ability to negotiate effectively and influence key stakeholders.     About the role: Flogas Energy is looking to recruit a proactive and detail-oriented Collections Agent to join our growing team in the dynamic Energy Market. This is a key role in supporting the expansion of our business and customer base, working closely with the credit control team to manage cash collections, handle customer queries, and ensure the smooth operation of credit activities. Please note, this is a 12-month contract. Key Responsibilities: Manage the collection of payments from Commercial and Domestic accounts, ensuring timely and accurate processing.     About the role: Flogas is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Senior Trading Analyst to join our team. This critical role involves trading and managing the risk associated with a portfolio of renewable energy generation and customer supply positions. The successful candidate will play a key part in forecasting both short-term and long-term electricity and gas demand. Key Responsibilities: Optimise day ahead and within day trading strategies of the demand and generation portfolios to help minimize costs through forecasting improvements and risk reduction strategies Actively trade a portfolio of renewable electricity generation assets and customer demand positions, optimizing financial outcomes and managing associated risks. Oversee the training and development of junior team members. Develop the teams capabilities to handle increasing supply and generation volumes, as well as new trading requirements from contractual agreements and market developments. Lead on the design and operational implementation of any changes to trading processes and reporting. Maintain excellent knowledge of ISEM markets and closely monitor regulatory decisions and market publications which shape market design.     About this role: As we strive to provide even better service to our customers, we are seeking a new driver to join the team, initially on a 6-month fixed term basis. This role will be based out of our Drogheda terminal and will require daily travel, delivering gas to our customers, therefor excellent customer service and safety standards are a must for this role.     About the role: The Business Services Director is a new role in the Flogas Energy business and reflects the importance of Digital and IT in supporting the growth ambitions of Flogas Energy with world-class solutions and platforms. It is also a recognition that the Energy/Utilities business line has a dedicated industry-specific focus that is different to LPG. The role is part of the Energy Leadership Team and reports directly to the Managing Director of Flogas Energy and has a dotted-line report to the Flogas Group IT Director. As a key member of the Flogas Energy Leadership Team, the Business Services Director will be integral to the company's success, overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Flogas Energy's IT strategy, data strategy and systems and interactions with external market systems.
