Job Summary We are looking for a new GSS CE Technology Lead to join GSS Circular Economy Business Unit based out of Tralee Kerry/Europe. As a GSS CE Technology Lead you will oversee the external and internal technical teams and all projects they undertake, sign off specifications, analyze briefs, write progress reports, identify and manage change and risks, and develop work schedules and project plans. What a typical day looks like: Determining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team to meet project goals. Liaising and managing teams, manage and influence direct and indirect resources, and clients to ensure projects are managed and completed to business requirements. Focal Point for flex internal IT Organisation and external vendors for GSS circular economy. Motivating staff and creating a space where they can ask questions and voice their concerns. Identifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible to manage the risks. Analyzing existing operations and scheduling training sessions and meetings to discuss improvements. Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments. Updating work schedules and performing troubleshooting as required. Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes. Strive to ensure innovation and standardization is always front of mind. Writing progress reports and delivering presentations to Presidents and relevant stakeholders. The experience/qualification we are looking to add to the team: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Understanding of and demonstrated experience of security, cyber security, compliance, ecommerce and cloud based solutions. Understanding of solutioning and best practice principles. Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with data governance and data quality principles. Strong leadership and organizational abilities. Design and implement scalable and efficient data storage solutions with a focus on reusability. Strong budget management and change management. A clear communicator with an eye to innovation and ability to deliver a circular economy technical roadmap. Preference to have knowledge of Flex GSS business and solutions. Experience in a similar role would be advantageous. Our Air Freight team based in Cork have an exciting opportunity for an Import/Export Analyst to join their team to process international & domestic shipments for import & export. Reporting to the Quality Manager IE, the Quality Systems Coordinator role will be part of an excellent team, whose members are strong communicators, ambitious & innovative. You will be responsible for the ongoing design, development, maintenance, improvement, and communication of the Quality Management System (QMS) & performance metrics. What a typical day looks like: Responsible for management of documented information in compliance with the ISO 9001 standard requirements. Support other departments and functions in compliance with their QMS responsibilities. Conduct internal Quality and 6S audits & participate in Gemba walks as required. Update daily SQDIP boards with quality metrics and alerts as required. Provide training and support on quality tools (e.g., RCCA, 5Why’s, Ishikawa, Control charts, Pareto etc.) and improvement activities as necessary. Ensure that the integrity of the QMS is maintained when changes to the processes are planned and implemented through use of change management procedures. Preparation of quality reports for quality meetings, management, and customer reviews as required.
