Graduate Planner – REF: 2543 The Graduate Planner will work with Fingleton White’s project delivery teams across all areas of our business. The role provides parallel training and guidance with legislative compliance, while supporting project work. Responsibilities Co‑ordination with project teams to determine legislative requirements for new projects such as requirements for Planning, Fire Safety Certificate, Disability Access Certificate, consents, BCAR, etc. Environmental screening and co‑ordination of further inputs such as engineers’ reports and 3‑party assessments. Stakeholder Management Obtaining consents Planning process including pre‑planning, application, response to RFIs and addressing any objections or appeals. Management of FW processes, templates, and training within the area of legislative compliance. Requirements A relevant qualification in Planning, Development and Environment &/or commensurate industry experience with an alternative qualification. Other relevant qualifications pertaining to our company’s field of work would also be considered. 0–2 years’ experience in a similar role. Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Fluent written and spoken English is essential. Full clean driving licence. The Role… Project Design Engineer – REF: 2518 We are looking to recruit a Project Design Engineer to join our Energy, Utilities and Renewables design team. The successful candidate will join an established team with senior support and will have the opportunity as their career progresses to lead high value and high complexity projects. An example of some of the responsibilities for the role as the business needs require are as follows: Design & project coordination from conceptual phase through to project completion in the Energy and Utilities sectors in areas such as renewables (biogas, biomass, CHP, solar, hydro, industrial utilities), pipelines and installations (gas, oil, water, or wastewater). Development of preliminary and detailed design calculations. Development of design drawings and specifications. Development of conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design reports.
