  • System Architect

    The System Architect in Test is responsible for improving Testing across FINEOS and ensuring that tooling, processes and standards are in place to ensure FINEOS continues to deliver a high quality service. Key activities including developing and expanding test frameworks to satisfy testing capabilities of distributed software as well as applying test automation practices to multiple products and teams. Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned.) Planning and rolling out initiatives across multiple teams and trains Creating and driving business cases that will raise the bar of quality and test practices and outputs.   • Senior System Analyst

    As a Senior Systems Analyst, you are involved in eliciting requirements for product development and designing solutions that enhance and expand our products, in line with customer, market and business needs. You will provide support to FINEOS teams on all product related matters, producing high quality, on-budget, fit for purpose FINEOS solution designs. This role requires a commercial and customer focus and drive to continually improve product and market knowledge to enable us to meet customer and market requirements. Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned.) Understand and analyze customer and market requirements and business value, challenging and questioning features and identifying matches to existing FINEOS core product functionality or product gaps. Engage early with our business sponsors to understand the business value for product enhancements, contributing to the understanding and definition of high-level requirements through research, analysis, spikes or exploration activities. Produce high quality, on-budget, fit for purpose FINEOS solution designs to meet customer and market business needs using artefacts for proposed solutions including screen mock-ups, scenarios, use cases, user stories, etc. with associated estimates for delivery of work. Work in a scrum team (with Product Owner, Lead Engineers, Software Engineers and Software Testers), in an Agile (SAFe) manner, to provide software design capability required to deliver high quality, on-budget, fit for purpose solution designs which meet customer and market business needs. Work with your Scrum team to identify technical requirements as the basis for construction, including data modelling, functional changes and underlying updates to FINEOS product. Ensure that business, market and architectural needs are understood by your team and that the team can deliver business value and meet its delivery goals. Ensure early identification of project risk with appropriate communication, management and escalation of issues in a timely manner, with a strong focus on risk minimization and issue resolution. Support and mentor other analysts, overseeing feature development and influencing product and solution direction. Support FINEOS teams in a Subject Matter Expert (SME) capacity on issues that require FINEOS Product suite expertise. Education and/or Experience Minimum 6 years of experience in the software industry, with at least 4 years of experience in analysis and/or client facing role. The ability to translate complex business requirements to deliverable budget focused technical solutions that meet customer and market business needs is critical to this role. Experience with both green field projects and enhancing existing solution designs. Experience in modelling complex data in a structured and flexible manner using OO Analysis and Design (OOAD) and notation (UML). Experience in Requirements Management, from upfront Requirements gathering and facilitation, to clarification and traceability of requirements throughout the SDLC. Degree in a business or IT related discipline is desirable. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent communication skills with the ability to drive solutions and influence decision making. The ability to manage risks and issues is critical to this role. Scope Management is critical to this role. Knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry is a distinct advantage. As an Agile Product Owner, you will: Own and manage product backlogs, prioritizing & sequencing based on business value and market insights. Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Insurance, or a related field preferred.
