    Job Description As a Site Manager you are involved with the successful delivery of projects, working alongside Senior Management team. Initiating continuous improvements to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget. Responsibilities Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety and environmental management. Monitor project strategies in order to achieve the company's sustainability objectives. Developing and monitoring strategies to deliver a quality build in accordance with the requirements of the project. Develop, nurture and manage supply chain relationships. Ensure the principles of the Considerate Constructor's Scheme are adopted and managing community relations. Developing project strategy and ensuring effective communication and implementation to deliver the project on time. Challenging and interrogative reporting on progress and instigating corrective actions, as required. Reviewing performance against targets and identifying and managing potential risks and opportunities. Ensuring consistent implementation of standard procedures. Managing project handover and ensuring defect/ snag free completion. Ensuring robust strategy for the closure of defects during defects period and obtaining certification of Making Good Defects within targets set. Sharing best practice and driving continuous improvements. Qualifications Educated to degree standard in Engineering or equivalent Technical knowledge of construction and best practices Passionate about construction and building Sound knowledge of latest building regulations, legislation and Health and Safety Working knowledge in Microsoft Office packages An appropriate and valid CSCS / CSR card.     Job Description As a Site Engineer you will primarily be involved in the daily inspection of the quality of the work completed onsite. Alongside with the site team you will initiate continuous improvements to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget. This will ensure the customers' expectations are met, whilst aligning activities within industry standards. Responsibilities Build strong working relationships with the Engineering team and sub-contractors Assist in managing systems to enable the progress of work to be reviewed against time, quality, dimensions and quantity Assist in the recording and testing of workmanship and materials, i.e., drainage, concrete, piling, brickwork etc Responsible for setting out works constructed within allowable tolerances. Regularly check the setting out points and benchmarks and checking that all setting out instruments and measuring equipment are delivered to site with a calibration certificate and recorded accordingly Ensures workforce understand setting out information has been identified as suitable for the type of work being carried out Responsible for providing and maintaining setting out and dimensional control, to ensure accurate construction of the work Take a proactive approach to managing Health and Safety on site Implement a regime of test and inspection plans for all works on site Qualifications Educated to degree standard in Construction Management or equivalent Technical knowledge of engineering and best practices An appropriate and valid CSCS / CSR card Full Driving License First Aid at Work Working knowledge of the complete Microsoft Office suite Proficient in the use of AutoCAD Good communication skills (verbal and written) and able to engage with all stakeholders at all levels Self-motivated.
