The Falls Hotel & Spa are currently recruiting for a Gym Instructor/Pool Lifeguard to join our team. The Role: The candidate must provide an efficient gym service at all times, ensuring that every customer is aided in his or her leisure needs, with the objective of achieving maximum customer satisfaction. You must supervise the pool area, ensuring the safety of all patrons in the Leisure Club. You must keep the pool area clean, hygienic and tidy at all times. Candidate Requirements: Pool lifeguard qualification - RLSS/IWS or equivalent recognised gym qualification - NCEF or equivalent Minimum of 1 years relevant work experience in a leisure centre with First Aid and pool plant operators qualification, fitness classes beneficial. Duties will include: Carry out duties including lifeguarding, swim teaching, fitness testing and programme design. Supervise swimming pool area Present professional appearance and attitude at all times Maintain a high standard of customer service All other duties as assigned and appropriate Ensure the cleanliness of the facility and equipment Skills: Lifeguarding Swimming Fitness Instruction Previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of leisure industry Can do attitude and forward thinking and planning Duties Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities . Provide all visitors with a friendly, safe and positive experience. Maintain a high standard of customer service. Be flexible regarding time table and company demands (weekend availability is required). Follow company operation procedures Ensure the health and safety of customers at all times. Uphold high standards of pool cleanliness and hygiene at all times. Attend all staff training and liaise with managers on ways to improve the services offered Promote the facility effectively, liaise with members and contribute positively to providing a high level of customer service. We are seeking to work with experienced or newly graduated therapists on a full time or part time basis. The successful candidate will receive full training in-house by our Senior Spa Therapist and a member of the Elemis international elite training team. This position would provide a fantastic opportunity for those interested in pursuing a career with a company focused on exceptional customer service. Requirements: A passion for beauty and massage therapy and providing an exceptional client experience. Experience of working with the Elemis and Voya range would be a advantage but not essential as full training will be provided. Have an ITEC, CIBTAC or CIDESCO qualification.
