    Job Description This is a full time, permanent position. As a QC Shift Team Lead you will lead a Professional Scientific Services (PSS) team of analytical staff to ensure that team is operating at the highest quality and productivity standards, have high morale and retention, and the agreed client requirements are entirely satisfied and that client expectations are met or exceeded through effective leadership and quality operational management, under the supervision of the PSS Group Lead. Responsibilities As a QC Shift Team Lead you will partner with the PSS Group Lead to lead and inspire the PSS team, driving operational excellence across productivity, quality, documentation, safety, housekeeping and full GMP compliance in line with Eurofins standards. You will deliver outstanding customer service by embedding best practice, upholding 100% ethical working standards, and ensuring all work meets the highest commercial and quality expectations. As a Shift Team Lead you will develop and engage your team through coaching, training, performance management, appraisals and recognition, fostering a positive, high‑performing culture aligned with Eurofins values. You will act as a key point of contact for both the client and the PSS team, ensuring clear communication, effective planning, flexible resourcing and consistent achievement of agreed service levels. You will provide strong technical and quality leadership, overseeing risk assessments, validation activities, GMP data review, investigations, SOP authoring and timely approval of accurate, compliant documentation. As a Shift Team Lead you will champion a safe, efficient and audit‑ready laboratory environment, ensuring EHS best practice, equipment maintenance, supply management and a continuous improvement mindset across all on‑site activities. Qualifications As a Shift Team Lead you will hold a relevant scientific qualification, ideally degree level or higher, in a suitable discipline, demonstrating a strong foundation in laboratory and analytical science. You will have proven experience working within a GMP‑regulated pharmaceutical laboratory, with a clear understanding of regulatory expectations, compliance and data integrity. As a Shift Team Lead you will bring strong knowledge of GMP and Microbiology, with an understanding of Chemistry considered an advantage, supporting robust, reliable and reproducible laboratory practices. You will be passionate about quality and customer service, consistently striving to meet or exceed client expectations while upholding Eurofins’ ethical, scientific and professional standards. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients, colleagues and stakeholders, and the ability to represent Eurofins professionally at all times.   • Sample Management Analyst Maternity Cover Full‑time, Fixed Term Contract until the 17th of June 2027. Working a 39 hour week flexibly Monday – Friday, adhering to core hours of Monday – Thursday 10:00 – 15:00 & Friday 09:00 – 14:00. Job Responsibilities Manage samples throughout the laboratory lifecycle, including internal sample movement, external shipment for analysis, coordination of complex sample pulls, aliquoting activities, and reference material inventory management. Respond to ad‑hoc requests for sample pulls and sample‑related information, support laboratory analytical personnel as required, and provide cover for other members of the PSS team to ensure uninterrupted service delivery. Administer all sample‑related documentation, including receipt and review of external sample results and accurate entry onto LIMS, ensuring all records are completed on time, legibly, and in line with GMP and data integrity requirements. You will generate, interpret and report data within required timelines to support batch release and stability programmes. You will manage quality documentation, staying up to date with SOPs and contributing to their writing and revision when needed. You will support laboratory equipment upkeep, including correct use, calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting. You will conduct investigations into deviations, out‑of‑specification results and other quality events, documenting findings appropriately. You will be familiar with LIMS systems, using them effectively for data entry, tracking and documentation.
