Join us as a Customer Service Representative in Athy, Ireland This is a great opportunity to join our customer service team at Etex Ireland, supporting customers, merchants and sales representatives with their day-to-day enquiries, orders and pricing. The role is offered on a hybrid basis, working three days on site at our Athy location and two days from home, Monday to Friday. You will be part of a collaborative and supportive team. What you'll do: Support customers, merchants and sales representatives on enquiries, order processing and stock availability. Accurately enter and maintain order and customer data on SAP, keeping customers informed on order progress, delivery updates and any changes. Process credits, debits and returns in line with company policy and agreed targets. Provide pricing on metal and slate products to existing account holders. Liaise closely with logistics, production and purchasing on deliveries and product availability. Support credit control with payment transactions where required. Provide cover and flexibility across customer service, switchboard and procurement when needed. What you'll bring: Previous experience in a customer-facing or customer service role would be an advantage. Strong communication skills, with a confident and professional telephone manner. Computer literate, with experience using SAP and Microsoft Office. Comfortable working in an operational or manufacturing environment. Measure drawings and carry out accurate quantity take-offs using digital tools. Prepare detailed budget costs that are both competitive and commercially accurate.
