  • OSW Transport & Installation Specialist Lead

    Join to apply for the OSW Transport & Installation Specialist Lead role at ESB We are looking for a professional with a minimum of seven years’ experience, with at least three years in a Transport and Installation related role. The role involves leading, coordinating, and supporting the development and assessment of project T&I engineering, including T&I input to foundation designs and consenting activities. The successful candidate will develop individual project’s Transport & Installation strategy, including design, planning, and cost definition, and prepare technical scope of work documents for Transport & Installation activities. In support of ESB’s strategic objectives of decarbonising electricity, building resilient infrastructure, and empowering clients, you will lead the development and assessment of project T&I engineering, develop Transport & Installation strategies, and provide technical support for offshore installation campaign planning. Key Responsibilities Lead, coordinate, and support the development of ESBs T&I engineering team.   • Lead Project Engineers

    Position Description The role of the Lead Project Manager (LPM) in the National Capacity Deployment team, entails leading restricted capacity projects from conception through to construction hand-over to the delivery team. To successfully accelerate restricted capacity projects through to delivery the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying solutions to release capacity in constraint areas of the network. Once the solution is agreed the LPM will be responsible for leading the development of TA's, Technical Costing, Pre-CA design, CA, detailed design and ordering of material; utilising key stakeholders in each respective area (i.e. Network Planning Team, OE's, EMP Pre-CA Design, External Design Contractors etc). Limited Capacity projects due to their nature have ambitious delivery timelines and it will be the responsibility of the LPM to ensure that project KPI's and critical path items are being achieved throughout the project lifecycle. The LPM will be the single point of contact for all issues relating to capacity restricted projects to ensure appropriate plans are put in place to lift capacity restrictions, allowing for customers to connect to a secure and reliable system.     Position Description The HR Transformation Lead is accountable for driving and delivering specific HR transformation initiative(s). Key Responsibilities HR Transformation Lead is responsible for driving the progress of the HR transformation initiative and ensuring the day-to-day management of the related project on behalf of the Project Board including: Lead the design, planning, and implementation of specific HR transformation initiative(s), working to secure and sustain alignment and buy in from relevant stakeholders. Act as the primary bridge between HR Transformation, process owners and technical delivery teams, translating transformation initiative needs into system and process requirements, and ensuring effective communication across all parties Monitor project progress, risks and issues, and track against initiative budget, escalating as necessary to ensure timely resolution and delivery of project milestones. Report regularly to the project steering committee and executive sponsors on project progress, business readiness, benefits realisation, and key milestones. Manage project team of direct and/or indirect reports to ensure delivery of activities critical to project success, (e.g. data preparation, business process improvements, SME coordination, and training). Ensure effective change management, including impact assessments, communications, training, and business readiness. Experience and Qualifications Essential Minimum 7+ years' experience delivering projects and improvement initiatives, ideally including HR, IT, and Business Transformation. Strong understanding of HR processes, systems, and best practices. Proven ability to manage varied stakeholder environments. Track record in successfully delivering projects to agreed controls and timelines with experience in Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies. Demonstrated expertise in business process improvement and change management. Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills. Analytical and strategic thinking abilities focused on business value and risk management. Desirable Experience with HR technology platforms (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors). Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or Agile. Location This position will be based in ESB's Head Office at Fitzwilliam 27, Dublin 2.
