We're currently looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to lead HV/MV electrical design projects across sectors including Substations, Renewable Energy (Solar & Wind), and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Key Responsibilities Include Leading electrical design projects from concept through to completion Delivering HV/MV design solutions including substations, transformers, switchgear, and protection systems Producing technical reports, specifications, and design documentation Working closely with clients, utilities, and multidisciplinary project teams Mentoring and supporting Graduate and Junior Engineers Representing the business in technical and client-facing discussions Requirements Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent 5+ years' experience within electrical design engineering Strong HV/MV design experience including substations and grid connections Experience with electrical infrastructure design, protection relays, and control systems Proficiency in EPLAN and AutoCAD Strong understanding of health & safety and quality standards ERSG are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants.
