The Greenogue facility specialises in the treatment and recovery of industrial liquid streams. The Industrial Process Operator role is to assisnt in the day to day running of industrial stream recovery processes at our Greenogue Facility. Shift Pattern: 2pm to 10.30p Key Responsibilities Operation of industrial process to recover/process liquid and other streams Troubleshooting process issues seeking to resolve and maintain production. Loading and unloading of trucks/tankers; Operation of forklifts and other machinery; Inspection of incoming streams and basic analysis (training provided); Monitoring of process and recording relevant parameters; Completion of basic equipment maintenance tasks in line with maintenance schedule; Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping at the facility; Communicating with the Enva team and associated parties to support site operations; To follow all company standard operating procedures (SOPs); Ensure and maintain a high standard in Health and Safety in line with company policy and procedures To be flexible to carry out other duties as may be requested by your supervisor/manager #irishjobs Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Experience in operating machinery is an advantage; Forklift licence is preferable (but not essential as training will be provided); Chemical handling experience is an advantage (but not essential, as training will be provided); Ability to work both individually and as part of a wider team with good communication skills; Good attention to detail; An understanding of Health and Safety procedures an advantage - training will be provided The above description is a general outline of the requirements of the role. Key Responsibilities Key Duties and Responsibilities: Installation, maintenance and servicing of plant & equipment including (but not limited to) pumps, oil burners, dosing systems, pipework and related services. Support the installation of new projects. Maintaining and servicing plant, machinery, pipework, pumps and equipment on site Assisting in new equipment installation and maintenance at other associated Enva/ customer sites Maintaining relevant records accurately and in a timely manner in relation to the above To carry out checks, inspections and audits as directed To conduct your duties in accordance with company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and the company's waste licence To adhere to the company's Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times To ensure that housekeeping is kept to a high standard around the site and that all activities comply with health and safety requirements. To report any personal circumstances that would affect your ability to legally perform your duties. #irishjobs #IND1 Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Mechanical background such as mechanical fitter, maintenance fitter (MAMF), etc. Qualified fitter or sufficient mechanical maintenance experience required, i.e. Fs/ City & Guilds or equivalent mechanical time-served Apprenticeship with Junior and Senior Trades an advantage. Relevant/ practical/ hands-on experience in the areas outlined, ideally in a manufacturing/ production environment within medium/heavy industrial industry. Experience with equipment such pumping equipment, oil burners and hydraulic & pneumatic equipment. Welding, drilling and grinding experience. Ability to work on own initiative. Ability to perform repairs and maintenance on both a reactive and planned basis, and flexibility to meet business needs and customer demands.
