Head of Resourcing Services The Head of Resourcing Services is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of the Professional Services Team, ensuring efficient resources are filled for Entegro and the external client, managing compliance, mitigating risks, and maximising value for the business. Reporting Structure: Reports to Director of People and Culture Responsibilities Client Relationship Management & Business Development Support Understand Client Needs: Proactively engage with clients to understand their current and future project requirements, technical specifications, team dynamics, and desired skill sets for contract resources. This involves attending client meetings, conducting needs assessments, and maintaining a deep understanding of their business. Be a Trusted Advisor: Act as a primary point of contact for clients regarding resource planning and availability. Provide expert advice on market trends, talent availability, and optimal resourcing strategies. Proactive Solutioning: Anticipate client needs and propose suitable contract resources or solutions even before formal requests are made. This demonstrates a strategic partnership. Opportunity Identification: Identify potential new projects or expanded scope within existing client accounts that require contract resources, collaborating with sales or account management teams. Problem Resolution: Address any client concerns or issues related to resource performance, compliance, or contractual agreements promptly and effectively, acting as a mediator when necessary. Team Management & Development Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing resourcing team, fostering a culture of accountability, client focus, and continuous improvement. Performance Management: Set clear goals and KPIs for team members, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide coaching to ensure individual and team success. Workload Allocation: Manage the team's workload effectively to ensure all client and internal requirements are met promptly and accurately. Training & Onboarding: Oversee the training and onboarding of new resourcing team members to maintain high standards of service delivery and compliance. Contractual Oversight (Client Account Specific) Contract Negotiation & Management: Work closely with the Commercial team but assume full responsibility to negotiate contract terms and conditions specific to client engagements for contract resources. This includes rates, payment terms, scope of work, and account growth. Compliance Assurance: Ensure all contractual agreements with the client and with the contract resources themselves (e.g., independent contractor agreements or employment contracts) comply with legal regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Budget Management & Cost Control: Monitor resource utilisation, track rates, and ensure that resource costs for the client account remain within agreed-upon budgets. Identify opportunities for cost growth without compromising quality. Invoicing & Payment Coordination: Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate and timely invoicing to clients and payments to contract resources of payroll. Renewal and Extension Management: Proactively manage contract renewal processes, including renegotiating terms, rates, and extensions based on client satisfaction and ongoing needs. Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate potential contractual risks related to resource engagements, such as scope creep, non-compliance, or performance disputes. Internal Collaboration & Reporting Internal Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless client service and resource deployment. Reporting & Analytics: Generate reports on client account performance, resource data, contract status, financial metrics, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform internal decision-making and client reviews. Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement improvements to the contract resource management process to enhance efficiency, client satisfaction, and profitability. Maintain Records: Meticulously maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client contracts, resource placements, and related documentation within the company's systems (e.g., ATS, and internal SharePoints). Talent Attraction Strategy Employer Branding: Work closely with Marketing and People & Culture to enhance the employer brand in the contract resource market, positioning the company as an employer of choice. Pipeline Management: Oversee the proactive creation and maintenance of a robust pipeline of highly-skilled contract resources for critical and niche roles. Market Intelligence: Provide strategic insights on talent market trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitive resourcing landscapes to inform decision-making. Resource Management & Allocation Talent Sourcing & Recruitment: Present qualified contract candidates who align with client requirements and cultural fit. Resource Matching: Precisely match available contract resources with client project needs, considering skills, experience, location, availability, and budget. Onboarding & Offboarding Coordination: Facilitate the smooth onboarding of contract resources to client sites (virtual or physical) and manage the offboarding process upon project completion. Performance Monitoring: Regularly check in with clients and contract resources to monitor performance, ensure satisfaction, and identify any potential issues or areas for improvement. This might involve collecting feedback, conducting performance reviews for the contractors, or facilitating performance discussions between the client and the contractor. Skills Required Essential Experience Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in resource management, talent acquisition, or professional services operations, preferably within a consulting or client-facing environment. Proven experience in a leadership role, managing and mentoring a resourcing or recruitment team. Demonstrable experience in developing and executing successful talent attraction strategies and building strong talent pipelines. Extensive experience with contract negotiation, budget management, and compliance in relation to contract resources. An understanding of HR principles, employment law, and compliance requirements related to contracting and staffing. Technical Skills Expert proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Resource Management Software. Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and KPIs to drive strategic resourcing decisions and reporting.
