These projects are primarily in the early inception stages (pre-planning), with a few already underway on-site. Key Responsibilities: Stakeholder Management: Engage with and balance the interests of various stakeholders. Design Team Oversight: Lead and coordinate the design team to ensure alignment with project goals. Contractor Management: Oversee the appointment and supervision of main contractors. Change Management: Handle and document changes or variations in the project scope. Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates on project progress and budgets to head office and stakeholders. Experience: A minimum of 4-5 years of post-graduate experience, with some project managment exposure. Licensing: A full, clean driving license and access to a personal vehicle are required, as the role involves managing projects across multiple sites. (Work travel expenses will be covered.)   • My client are are an ambitious M&E Construction based in Cork.. As part of their expansion they want to hire a designated Mechanical Senior QS who will be mainly focused on projects in the Cork area. You will be in charge of managing all costs to bring an optimal commercial outcome for the company related to process mechanical construction and maintenance projects from initiation through to final take over by their customers. Typical tasks involve but are not limited to the following: To complete the initial review of tenders, rates, preliminaries, terms and conditions prior to commencement of a contract. Raise sales invoices against works completed, including substantiation of costs as required. Undertake and manage interim commercial meetings with the client, sub-contractors and the internal team. Report in detail as required to the Commercial Manager and Directors on the commercial status of the project. Administration of customer and sub-contractor purchase orders and invoices. Management of sub-contractors including; prepare tender enquiries, soliciting tenders, evaluation of rates and measures, provision of sub contract agreements, purchase orders, and general commercial management of sub-contractor accounts, interim valuations and final accounts. Ensure payment certificates are processed and payments are made per the agreed sub-contract and procurement terms. Work closely with project managers, construction managers and site engineers to track progress claims by sub-contractors and certify payments, and negotiate final accounts. Competencies: Logically-minded, able to understand and make associations between basic technical requirements. Accountable, someone who take ownership of tasks form beginning to end. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this is a key role combining hands-on project management with strategic responsibility for operational performance, supply chain development, and regional delivery. The successful candidate will directly manage multimillion-euro projects (typically €5m+), build a reliable pipeline of suppliers and subcontractors, and strengthen labour resources across Europe. You will work closely with the commercial team to ensure profitability, efficiency, and excellence on every project, while developing long-term relationships with clients, partners, and local subcontractors. This will probably entail 2 days a week travelling to European projects. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee the direct delivery of large-scale construction projects valued at €5m+. Lead all aspects of project operations planning, mobilisation, delivery, performance, cost control, and compliance. Build and manage a strong supply chain pipeline: suppliers, subcontractors, and local labour resources. As a Cost Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in their project development and implementation process. You will work closely with the Project Owners to support the delivery of projects.. The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial and contractual management of our engineering projects. The role requires ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Provide accurate budget forecasts and advise on cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor project expenditure, variations, and value engineering opportunities to maximise cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. Carry out commercial reviews of tenders prior to submission for engineering projects. Prepare and administer contract documentation in line with project requirements. Prepare and submit applications for payment for projects.
