The Role We are seeking an exceptionally talented sales professional who can open doors, build trust, and deliver results across an existing account base - while hunting for new Solar installer accounts. Key Responsibilities Proactively identify and engage potential install customers Account managing existing clients- maximizing revenue potential Respond promptly to customer enquiries and convert them into sales opportunities. Prepare and send accurate quotations. Manage tasks and close actions daily to keep sales processes moving. Present and promote our Solar PV, Battery Storage, solutions in a compelling way. Negotiate contracts and close deals, meeting or exceeding targets. Attend trade shows, seminars, and conferences to build networks and identify new opportunities. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor offerings, and technological developments in green energy.

  • External Sales Representative Hardware Division The business is a market leader in the supply, installation, and servicing of a wide range of construction products, including door hardware, timber doors, steel security doors, automatic doors, movable walls, fire door inspections, faades and window systems, access control solutions, glazing, and related systems. Due to continued growth, an External Sales Representative is being recruited to join the team, based in Dublin. This is a permanent, full-time position. Overview of the Role We are seeking a confident, driven, and commercially focused External Sales Representative to expand and strengthen our presence within the Irish construction market. The role involves promoting and selling a comprehensive hardware and systems portfolio to Tier 1 and Tier 2 main contractors, while also driving product specification with leading architectural, design, and consultancy practices nationwide.   • Primary Responsibilities Consistently achieve or exceed monthly sales and order intake targets across the access control and automatic systems division. Maximise sales opportunities by identifying key target market sectors including healthcare, hospitality, pharmaceutical, commercial, education, and government, and by developing and executing effective growth strategies. Build and maintain strong working relationships with architects, specifiers, M&E consultants, contractors, and other key stakeholders to ensure products are specified on major projects. Apply strong commercial judgement to deliver viable customer solutions while meeting or exceeding target margins. Continuously develop in-depth knowledge of the companys products and services to effectively represent the organisations value proposition. Maintain a strong understanding of competitor offerings within the sector to identify and successfully promote competitive advantages. Ensure all estimated leads and opportunities generated through CRM/CIS platforms are followed up professionally to maximise conversion to orders. Conduct regular weekly client appointments and business development activities within the Leinster region to drive sales growth. Review all relevant estimates within the division and collaborate with the Business Development Manager (BDM) to ensure consistency, accuracy, and profitability. Work closely with the BDM to maximise full 360-degree specification and sales opportunities. Manage, service, and grow existing customer accounts to achieve individual monthly and annual sales and margin targets. Cross-sell the wider group portfolio of products and services where appropriate. Collaborate with the marketing team to identify and capture all relevant sales opportunities within the Leinster region. Build strong working relationships with the Contracts Manager to ensure a smooth handover of projects and maintain positive customer relations.
