Role Description
This is a temporary, on-site role for a Boarding Master for the Summer Rugby Programme at the European Irish Rugby Experience, located in Limerick. The Boarding Master will oversee the well-being and supervision of students participating in the programme, ensuring a safe and supportive living environment. Responsibilities include managing overnight players and staff, addressing concerns, and fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere. The role also involves collaborating with management to coordinate activities and maintain open communication with students.

Qualifications/Experience
Proven experience in running boarding programmes in a school environment
Recognised teaching qualification and/or experience working in a school boarding environment is highly desirable.
Proven experience working with children and young people in a pastoral, residential, or boarding setting.
Strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and duty-of-care responsibilities within a residential environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage and support students’ academic, social, and emotional wellbeing.
Experience in supervising, mentoring, and managing boarding staff.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, and staff.
Strong organisational and administrative skills, including record keeping and reporting.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overnight duties as required in a boarding school environment.
