  • Manufacturing Operator - Shannon

    We currently have an excellent new opportunity for Manufacturing Operator with multinational medical devices client based in Shannon, Co. Clare. Position will be offered on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract, with significant opportunity for the longer term. Shifts will be both day and evening. The successful candidate will support the production team in daily operations. Key Responsibilities: Check, verify, and record all incoming kits before approving them for production. Prepare packaging lines and complete box/line clearance records. Fill in batch records accurately. Operate and feed automated packing machines (front and rear end). Follow all safety procedures when working with packaging machines. Keep machines clean and well maintained. Carry out in-process checks to ensure quality standards are met. Pack inner boxes into outer cartons and clearly label them for shipment. Prepare cartons for dispatch, including address labels and packaging. Complete all shipment paperwork. Release finished product from production. Carry out quality audits. Work closely with the Quality Systems Coordinator. Track and report on KPIs to measure production efficiency. Monitor product flow from inspection to final shipping, ensuring all documentation (batch records, inspections, diagnostic releases) is fully completed in line with GMP/GDP standards. Essential Requirements: Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or packaging environment. Strong attention to detail with ability to follow written procedures accurately. Good understanding of Health & Safety practices. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work day and evening shifts. Basic computer skills for recording and completing documentation. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.     We have superb new opportunity for Financial Accountant with Shannon, Co. Clare based Aviation multinational client. Position will be offered as full time permanent role with excellent package on offer for the right candidate. Due to continued business growth, this new position will particularly focus on the areas of Irish government and European grants, Irish Revenue Research and Development tax credits, month end accounts and inter-company reconciliations. Responsibilities and Tasks including but not limited to the following: General Ledger Assist in the preparation of month end accounts including journal entries, analytical review of expenses and balance sheet reconciliations. Assisting in the annual audit preparation and dealing with external auditors Maintaining the fixed asset register Grants - Identify all financial supports (R&D, Capital, Training, Green) available from national Government agencies, EU programmes, public bodies, private foundations, industry organizations and any other sources or potential grants or funding that best support the organisations business model and strategy to grow and innovate for the future. Build strong working relationships with the above groups to ensure the company is up to date and avails of all potential available grants. Co-ordinate the development and preparation of grant proposals and filing of same with the relevant authority or body. Work with Engineering department to identify potential research and development projects eligible for Revenue tax credits Preparation, filing and tracking of all credits filed with Revenue. Person Specification: +7 years PQE. Experience with accounting software and systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience in preparing and filing grant claims would be desirable but training will be given if required. Previous experience in managing and filing research and development tax claims is desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Team player and ability to collaborate effectively with other teams and stakeholders. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
