    As Director of DC Design Engineering – EMEA you will be the executional and technical backbone of Eaton’s global D&E function. While the Global Director sets the vision and governance, the EMEA Leader ensures that strategy is translated into consistent, high-quality delivery across all regions. The EMEA Leader is a key member of the global leadership team and a trusted deputy to the Global Director. What you’ll do: Operational Execution & Framework Deployment Translate global frameworks into actionable regional programmes and deliverables. Ensure consistent application of design standards, modular templates, and BIM workflows across all geographies. Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Technical Leadership & Escalation Support Act as the primary technical escalation point below the Global Director level, supporting complex design and execution challenges. Coordinate with E33 Centre of Excellence, regional engineering teams, and solution architects to resolve issues and maintain quality. Programme Management & Integration Lead EMEA based cross-functional programmes integrating consultative design, modularisation, and digital engineering. Contribute to global engineering initiatives including reference design rollouts, BIM library updates, and modular QA/QC enhancements. Tendering & Bid Support Oversee EMEA bid QA/QC processes and ensure technical consistency in submissions. Support strategic tenders and customer engagements, aligning bid strategy with Eaton’s global standards. Digital Enablement & BIM Governance Drive adoption of Autodesk tools and digital workflows across the region. Maintain and evolve BIM libraries, configurators, and traceability systems in collaboration with global and regional teams. Talent Development & Regional Coordination Mentor regional engineers and build technical capability across the EMEA team. Coordinate resource planning and succession development in alignment with strategic priorities. Qualifications: BSc / MSc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. 8-10 Years of Experience working in Data Centre related environment (design, engineering, modularisation, digital enablement, tendering, and execution suppor). Proven experience delivering the full suite of electrical & mechanical engineering services for mission critical facilities, including (but not limited to): MV and LV power distribution, Transformers, UPS and standby generation systems, Cooling and HVAC systems Strong knowledge of relevant electrical codes, standards, and accepted industry best practices. Experience undertaking value engineering and integrating new technologies to deliver cost effective, resilient client solutions. Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is advantageous, but not essential. Familiarity with emerging technologies such as edge computing and AI. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to think strategically and drive long-term innovation. Proven experience in building teams and supporting processes.
