  • SITE RELIABILITY ENGINEER (SRE)

    Join to apply for the SITE RELIABILITY ENGINEER (SRE) role at DYNE Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Platform Infrastructure team (100% Remote - Ireland) We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our engineering team in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring production readiness, operational resilience, and seamless integration of gateway products with other platforms. This role involves close collaboration with development teams to design, implement, and support scalable and secure services. Key Responsibilities Own and improve the full service lifecycle, including design, deployment, operations, and continuous enhancement. Ensure system availability, capacity planning, performance optimization, and monitoring readiness. Lead incident response activities and conduct blameless postmortems while improving MTTR. Develop and maintain automation pipelines for certificate renewals, traffic routing, alerting, and compliance reporting using tools such as Ansible, Venafi, and XLR templates. Support CI/CD pipelines and operational gating processes. Implement automation frameworks to improve reliability, reduce toil, and enhance operational efficiency. Contribute to compliance initiatives including PCI, threat mitigation, risk reduction, and ITSM defect resolution. Configure and maintain monitoring and observability tools, particularly Dynatrace and Splunk. Collaborate with global teams and provide guidance to junior engineers. Participate in rotational on-call support for critical production systems. Perform additional duties as required to support team and organizational goals. Skills And Qualifications Minimum 5 years' experience in SRE, DevOps, or related engineering roles. Strong knowledge of NGINX configuration and gRPC event-driven architectures. Hands‑on experience with DevOps tools including Chef, Jenkins, Groovy, Bitbucket, Git, Ansible, and XLR. Practical experience with AWS infrastructure, secure access management, and cloud‑native deployments. Understanding of certificate lifecycle management, SSL/TLS, mTLS, SSH keys, and encryption standards. Familiarity with ITSM processes, compliance frameworks, and incident management practices. Solid understanding of networking concepts including L1–L7 layers, client‑server models, load balancers (F5 BIG‑IP), and application firewalls. Strong troubleshooting skills for stack traces, TCP dumps, heap/thread dumps, and OS‑level issues. Working knowledge of authentication and authorization technologies such as Active Directory, SAML, OAuth, LTPA, and SSO. The ideal candidate will bring strong automation expertise, proven Agile experience, and the ability to contribute to test strategy and lead test planning activities. Candidates with prior experience in Big 4 consulting or Irish public sector environments will be highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver. Lead and mentor junior testers, ensuring alignment with QA best practices. Create, update, and maintain automated regression test suites aligned with project deliverables. Work closely with developers, product owners, and scrum masters within an Agile team. Review test plans, test cases, and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Participate in sprint ceremonies, providing metrics, reports, and quality insights. Ensure compliance with client QA processes, documentation standards, and audit requirements. Required Skills & Experience 5–7 years of hands‑on test automation experience, ideally within large or complex enterprise environments.
