  • Sales Executive - Base Maintenance

    Dublin Aerospace is a Maintenance Repair Organisation (MRO) based in Dublin, Ireland, specialising in Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 series aircraft, Landing Gear and APU overhaul. We are a leading player in the MRO market in Europe and have established ourselves as a high quality, reliable service provider. We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, focused and dynamic Sales Executive seeking a role in a challenging and fast-paced environment. Reporting to the General Manager of Base Maintenance, the Sales Executive will be responsible for lead generation, conversion and revenue growth, whilst supporting the execution of the overall Base Maintenance sales strategy and targets. The successful candidate will develop long-term, sustainable customer relationships. Key Responsibilities: Identify and drive new business opportunities for the Base Maintenance division worldwide, build a pipeline of customers, convert leads into sales to support the delivery of DAL revenue targets Develop and maintain customer relationships with the target customer base (airlines, cargo operators, leasing companies). Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends to build a strong company value proposition. Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential and existing customers. Create demand for the company’s services by raising DAL’s profile and brand with the target customer base. In conjunction with the marketing team, support the development of an annual calendar of industry trade events, attend those events, and represent the company. Manage the company’s CRM and ensure all relevant data is entered with all sales leads and RFPs recorded with relevant customer information. Undertake other duties as may reasonably be assigned by the Company from time to time. Frequent international travel will be a requirement for this position. Skills and Experience: Degree or equivalent aircraft maintenance qualification with a minimum 3 year’s aviation sector experience. Proven track record in sales and sales processes within the aviation sector. People-focused approach, team player with a solid commitment to customer service delivery. Fluent English essential. The ability to speak additional languages is beneficial. An energetic, dedicated approach combined with excellent organisation skills and a commitment to deadlines, targets and high work standards.   • APU Technician & NDT Specialist

    In order to meet the company’s ambitious growth plans an opportunity now exists for an APU Technician & NDT Level 2 Specialist hybrid role in the APU Workshop Reporting to APU Operations Lead. T he successful candidate’s duties will include: Ensuring work is carried out to the highest standard and is completed in a timely fashion and meets the delivery requirements of the customer. Use the IT systems available as directed throughout the department to log the work they complete. Ensuring that all work performed is recorded on the appropriate paperwork and signed for on a progressive basis. Ensuring that the area they work in is kept clean and in an orderly condition. Adhere to all company, regulatory and Health and Safety procedures. Ability to complete a training course to qualify as EN4179 Level 2 in Penetrant Testing and Magnetic Particle Testing for APU Components A willingness to travel abroad for training purposes Have completed a Motor Trade Apprenticeship or any time served mechanical disciplines or an Aircraft Apprenticeship/Traineeship. Minimum of 5 - 10 years post qualification experience working in a Garage environment/ Maintenance Repair Organisation MRO. Working knowledge of automotive diagnostic systems/MRO computer system Strong communication skills, both oral and written Ability to read and interpret specifications and technical instructions from the relevant manuals Ability to work within a team, and on their own initiative, be self motivated and flexible in their approach to work Proven problem solving and decision making skills Willingness to up-skill and recertify on an on-going basis A good sense of commercial awareness Desired Requirements Qualified to EN4179 level 2 in Penetrant Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing with recent documented experience in the method Have a working knowledge of APU product technology A good knowledge of an MRO computer system #J-18808-Ljbffr
