The role of Accommodation Assistants (Days) working schedule is Monday - Sunday working 5 over 7 days - 40 Hours which includes weekend work. Reporting to Accommodation Supervisors and Managers, you will be responsible for providing a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere in Guest Bedrooms by servicing rooms. The role of accommodation assistant is to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all bedrooms and public areas. The Ideal Candidate: Must have previous experience working in a similar environment. The ideal candidate will have a natural 'Yes I can!' attitude. Strong organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail. Must be well organised and have a high level of service standards and ability to work under pressure. An ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team. Have a friendly, chatty, and outgoing personality. High level of verbal and written English. Dromoland Castle Golf course is set on the magnificent 450-acre estate with an impressive 18-hole 6,824 yards par 72 championship course. This is a Full Time seasonal role with the successful candidate commencing employment 1st April 2025 - 31st October 2025. Working schedule is from Monday - Sunday along with a variety of shifts available; however, due to the nature of our business, flexibility is required. Overview of the Role: Seasonal, Full Time Position (April to October 2025 - Inclusive). Maintenance of the Golf Course surrounds and Course Landscaping. Maintaining open spaces and unused acreage. Maintaining good relations with Golf club members, Residents, and Guests who use the course. Requirements For The Role 2 - 3 Years experience in a similar role. Relevant Greenkeeping qualifications to a FETAC level 6 (Desirable but not essential). Must be well organised and a team player. Hold a current Full Driving Licence. The ideal candidate will encompass strong planning & organisational skills along with interpersonal and a self-motivational mindset. The ideal candidate would thrive on becoming an integral member of the Dromoland Castle Sales Team. Please note that this position requires flexibility as you may be required to work 5 shifts over 7 days, including weekends. The role of Sales Executive will involve: Handle enquiries from potential clients about meeting spaces, accommodations, and event bookings, directing each enquiry to the appropriate sales team member. Assist in preparing sales proposals and contracts tailored to the specific needs of clients, outlining pricing, services, and terms to secure bookings. Maintain client databases and records, tracking interactions, bookings, and preferences to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Assist in coordinating logistics for FAM trips & site inspections for all market segments. Prepare and maintain sales reports, tracking key performance indicators such as revenue, bookings, and conversion rates to evaluate sales performance and identify areas for improvement. Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive offerings, providing insights to inform sales strategies and target new business opportunities. Provide administrative support to the Sales & Events teams, including preparing documents and presentations as needed. Maintenance of Dromoland Castle listing on partner sites, updating fact sheets across multiple sites on a quarterly basis with any new information on rooms, F&B, Activities etc. Assisting with Site Inspections, sourcing new unique ideas for Gifting, idea generation for bespoke itineraries. Oversee the Site inspection list and share with all team members each week. Assist team on post Sales Trip / Tradeshow follow ups with targeted messaging to Luxury Leisure and MICE Agents. Annual Leave resource for wider team members when out of the business. Update Corporate databases and review check ins to identify new and existing corporate contacts for Sales. Compile monthly room night & rev reports in conjunction with Commercial Manager. Ensure the Sales PowerPoint presentations are market and segment specific. Work with the Sales & Events team in conjunction with the Marketing team to compile the existing and new collateral opportunities for each business segment. Requirements: A minimum of 2 years experience in the same role. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, working both independently and within a collaborative team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be well organised and have a high level of service standards and ability to work under pressure. An ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team.
