Liaise with design team and project coordinator to ensure necessary information (as required by construction team) is prioritised (where necessary) and issued is issued in accordance with construction schedule. Assist the PM in assuring design responsibility is clearly set out to the subcontractor on appointment and carry out the necessary design checks in due course. Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings as deemed necessary to fulfil your role. Reporting to the Business Unit Preconstruction Director, and working as a member of the wider BIM team, the BIM Technician & 3D Animation Specialist will be an exemplar ambassador for the company and its values, integrity, dependability, safety, pride, and quality Your day to day will include: Developing a 3D Animation presentation capability in the company Support and generate client presentations in projects. Develop, logistic models, 4D animations. Developing BIM scripts to improve efficiency on repetitive modelling and drawing development work. Leading Coordination, liaising, collaborating coordinating with 3rd Party Contractors and designer. Developing models and drawings through Revit Manage Plant 3D content and models Generation of Fabrication Packs, GA's, Isometrics Produce weekly Updates of Navisworks Model and issue Clash Detection Reports Work with 3rd Party Contractors and designers to resolve clashes Co-ordinating with project team All other reasonable tasks assigned to you from time to time from your manager What we are looking for: Detailed knowledge of the BIM Technician & 3D Animation role Commercial understanding Health, Safety and Environmental systems Knowledge of the team's strengths and weaknesses #LI-KK1 #DOR1 Why Dornan?
