Full and Part time hours available We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Paediatric A&E Nurses to join our healthcare team. AgencyPaediatric Nurses provide high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to patients presenting with urgent or emergency health needs. Working within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, the nurse will adapt to various healthcare settings, maintain high clinical standards, and ensure compliance with national healthcare regulations and policies. Key Responsibilities: Deliver patient-centred care in line with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) standards. Triage and assess patients presenting to the Emergency Department using Manchester Triage or equivalent systems. Provide emergency nursing interventions including wound care, resuscitation support, IV therapy, and pain management. Monitor and evaluate patient progress and document clinical records accurately. Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families. Respond to clinical emergencies and support critical care transfers. Ensure infection control, patient safety, and privacy standards are upheld. Administer medications safely and according to protocols and guidelines. Adapt quickly to new environments and follow local hospital policies and procedures. Participate in clinical audits and mandatory training as required. Requirements: Registered Paediatric Nursewith active registration with An Bord Altranais / Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) . Must have eligibility to work in Ireland (EU/EEA passport or appropriate work visa). Triage training and certification (preferred but not mandatory). Mandatory training including but not exclusive to Current Basic Life Support (BLS). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification(desirable), Safety Intervention training(formerly MAPA can be supplied by Direct Medics) Garda Vetting (cost covered by Direct Medics) Minimum 12 months post-registration experience in an Paediatric A&E, ED, or Urgent Care setting. Experience in high-acuity environments and familiarity with Irish or UK healthcare systems (HSE/NHS or private).
