This role will focus on welfare areas such as changing rooms, lockers, and general building finishes, ensuring that facilities meet the needs of a growing workforce. The role requires experience in a GMP- regulated environment , such as pharmaceutical or medical device facilities, as all work will need to align with change control and validation requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead upgrades and maintenance of general facilities and welfare areas, including changing rooms, lockers, and break areas . Carry out touch-ups and minor repairs on wall panelling, flooring, and general building finishes. Ensure all facilities work complies with GMP, health & safety, and company standards . Liaise with site teams and management to plan and execute works with minimal disruption. Support documentation and approvals related to change controls and validation processes. Coordinate with contractors and vendors where necessary to ensure timely completion of works. Required Experience & Qualifications Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in facilities, building services, or general maintenance . Previous experience working in pharmaceutical or medical device facilities . Knowledge of GMP requirements, change control processes, and validation procedures . Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong attention to detail and quality. Full, clean driving licence preferred.   • Job Title: Project Engineer Location: Sligo, Ireland Contract: 12 Months Rate: €65 - €75 per hour Overview We are seeking a Project Engineer to provide engineering services to the plant , maximise availability of all site process equipment and utilities , and support capital engineering projects . The role will focus on operational improvements, process engineering support, project execution, and continuous improvement initiatives within a live manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Provide engineering services to the plant to maximise the availability of all site process equipment and utilities . Manage capital engineering projects within site following the Project Lifecycle approach (typical project value range: up to €5 million). Support engineering teams in controlling uptime of process equipment and optimising efficiencies in equipment and process performance. Support the Engineering team with continual operational improvements . Provide process engineering support and technical troubleshooting within the site. Improve operations and reliability of equipment and processes through identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives . Manage the execution of projects within the engineering group, including specific process safety projects . Support the provision of process safety initiatives to the site. Liaise with Production to ensure equipment performance is maximised . Provide engineering support and technical troubleshooting to all site operations. Lead process equipment commissioning and validation activities . Requirements Degree in a relevant Engineering Discipline (Mechanical/Chemical/Process). 5+ years strong site experience in Pharma (OSD/API Manufacturing) or will consider Biotech or Sterile Fill Finish background . Proven track record of supporting capital project execution from cradle to handover with large national/multinational companies (equipment/process/manufacturing type projects) Proven track record in delivering capital projects – new equipment, utilities, facilities, etc. Good knowledge of change control and C&Q processes/execution . Relevant site experience in one or more of the following API process equipment trains (reactors, filter dryers, pumps, process pipework, milling, containment technology – gloveboxes, downflow booths, etc.) Drug Product equipment (tablet press, roller compaction, tablet coater, material handling – post hoists, blenders, milling – Quadro Comils, etc.) Cleanroom processing/utilities – HVAC, CIP systems, purified water generation and distribution systems, etc. Knowledgeable/competent with executing change control. Experience in process engineering , with relevant experience of batch processing, automation, project management, commissioning and validation, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement . Working knowledge of distributed control systems , such as DeltaV . Hands‑on role requiring a logical and structured approach to resolving day‑to‑day engineering issues typical of a live manufacturing environment . Knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements relating to the healthcare industry . Demonstrated project management skills , including the ability to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and meeting predefined quality requirements .
