Job Purpose Dawn Farms is currently seeking for a S&I Customer Project Manager to join our Science & Innovation Department to be based in our head offices in Naas, Co. Kildare . As a Project Manager, you will be the key driver of our stage gate (Nectar) innovation process, delivering each project within agreed timelines. You will lead culinary and process-based ideation sessions, manage stakeholder engagement, and ensure effective communication and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Building over time a track record of success is a key deliverable. Positions: Full-Time, Permenant Location: Naas, Co. Kildare, Ireland Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8am -5pm Salary: DOE Role Responsibilities & Duties Be the leader for your assigned projects from the start of the brief to the final review within our stage gate process (Nectar). Need – project concept. Explore – opportunity assessment / feasibility (business case, market insights, culinary reviews, business case, risk assessments) Create – pilot trials. Test – scale up within factory. Act – production reviews / improvement stage. Review – of the product and process. Completion of the required steps on Navision to ensure all departments are clear at each step of the process, attending where possible all stages of trials (Scale ups are mandatory) and briefing your appointed technologist clearly on what is required at pilot stage. Attend all required daily and weekly meetings, ensuring that you maintain all required Nectar reports as agreed with your S&I Manager. Presentations to Customers and visit to their facilities are a key part of this role, leading the technical discussions, offering consumer insights and related concepts are key drivers. Update your own project innovation pipeline on a weekly basis, communication of any significant changes or delays to the required team members, doing what is required to get the project back on time. Present to your team on a regular basis a review of your Nectar projects, offering positive continuous improvement suggestions that deliver to the business core strategic plans. Leverage culinary and technical access with key influencers within your targeted Customers and suppliers. Promoting the benefits of using Dawn Farms as there must have supplier and problem solver. Developing a network of technical experts that can be called upon to assist within the nectar innovation process. Responsible for gate review meetings at each stage of the nectar process To demonstrate a high level of competence in food / meat science, food processing, food legislation, specifications and recipe management. Completion and recording of all sensory or benchmark analysis, product evaluations and concept reviews in line with the expectation set within nectar. To maintain a high standard of cleanliness when using any of the facilities within our facility from desks, kitchens, pilot plant to factory equipment. Any other reasonable tasks as outlined by your direct Manager or head of department. Key Knowledge & Experience Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in the Food Industry with Third level qualification in the Food Science or similar field. BSc. Food Science & Technology or equivalent. Proven track record in a similar role in a high-risk food environment. Excellent Word & Excel Skills – Intermediate level. Navision experience preferable but not a requirement. Outlook experience - Intermediate level. Ability to motivate, self-manage and use one’s own initiative. Excellent project management skills and project leadership ability. Team player who works well with others. Excellent communication skills with the ability to facilitate meeting’s, provide daily and weekly updates and adhere to all boards and recording systems. Innovative and problem-solving mindset with commitment to continuous improvement and delivering customer results. Excellent technical ability focusing on problem solving solutions. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. A ‘can do’ attitude. Flexible attitude with an aim to meet all business demands. Job Purpose The ideal applicant for this job will have some experience as a Catering Assistant along with the ability to work both as part of a team and your own initiative. The successful candidate will need to have good work ethic as well as a hands-on approach. Position: Full-time, 39 hours a week. Location: Naas, Kildare Working Hours: Mon. - Fri. day shift. As Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for: Food preparation tasks. Hygiene and cleanliness of food preparation areas. Food serving and basic cleaning tasks. The successful candidate will be required to: Assist with food preparation from start to finish. Organise food preparation areas and adhere to all food safety procedures. Ensure counters are replenished and tidy as you go throughout service. Serve customers in a timely fashion. Be prepared to carry out any additional duties outside of general duties. To follow the agreed HACCP standards and procedures Completion of daily records (cleaning/food safety) Be approachable as well as a customer service oriented Have the ability to multitask in a fast face working environment. Key Experience & Skills HACCP/Food Safety level 2 desirable but not essential. Basic understanding of food safety and food safety controls measures. Prior experience working within a customer service focused industry. Good level of English both oral and written. Attention to detail.
