About The Role The Fixed Income Senior Associate will provide support across several areas of the Fixed Income team including repo management, trade execution, daily reporting, client engagement, DCM support and management reporting. The role offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual who is seeking to gain front office experience in Ireland's largest fixed income franchise. Key Accountabilities Support repo execution across the desk's market making sovereign and corporate exposures. Coordination with internal support functions (Capital Market Operations (CMO), finance and risk). Liaise with repo counterparties, maintain existing relationships and promote further counterparty expansion over time. Support execution of wealth management fixed income activity. Assume responsibility for reporting of Irish stock exchange volumes. Assume responsibility for posting fixed income flows/axes to institutional clients via Bloomberg chat. Provide sales cover for client engagement and bilateral pricing requests. Support the counterparty set‑up process in conjunction with the Head of Distribution. Support the Debt Capital Markets function for primary issuance (Documentation / Internal Governance / Order collation). Provide support in management reporting, data collation and internal presentation requirements. Provide input and support on client presentations and desk research output. Requirements Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or business is preferable but not essential. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Understanding and awareness of financial markets. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. About The Role As Director of Debt Origination at Davy, you will lead the origination and execution of primary debt transactions within the Irish debt universe and be an integral member of Davy\'s debt capital markets unit.
