Partner with HR business partners to design career pathways across Davy. Coordinate the promotion process linked with the performance management system. Lead wellbeing initiatives and programmes to support mental, physical, and social wellbeing. Drive continuous improvement across the employee lifecycle (attraction, recruitment, onboarding, learning & development, retention, offboarding) to ensure a consistent, efficient experience. Own the design and delivery of employee experience analytics, ensuring clear visibility of trends and performance indicators. Oversee internal communication to ensure that Employee Experience is central to everything we do. Support talent reviews and workforce planning with clear insights and recommendations. Partner with the CPO and Head of L&D to support culture, inclusion, and engagement strategies. Lead the strategy and continuous improvement of the physical workplace experience, ensuring office environments, hybrid workspaces, and on‑site facilities promote comfort, productivity, connection, and wellbeing. About You Degree or Masters level qualification. Professional HR qualification such as CIPD (or equivalent). A high level of proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, with strong capability in data analysis and presentation. Exceptional interpersonal skills, listening and communication skills with a high level of empathy. A flexible, positive attitude towards work. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative, high‑performing HR team. An ability to prioritise and manage own workload. Proven ability to translate insights into clear employee experience initiatives. Excellent project and programme management skills. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, able to build trust across all levels of the organisation. About the Role An exciting opportunity has opened up in our Private Clients Division for a Head of our Financial Planning Creation team. This role falls within the wider Financial Planning team. The role will primarily involve managing a team of financial planners, collaborating with the Tax and Pension Specialists and Private Client Advisers to service our clients. We produce bespoke, goals‑based financial plans catered specifically towards our client’s needs, be they business owners or individuals/families needing planning expertise. This will primarily be a people‑management role but will also have client‑facing aspects. In The Role, The Successful Candidate Will Manage a high performing team of financial planners (c.12–14 people) with mixed experience levels in line with our People focus strategy; Design, implement and monitor a comprehensive training strategy for existing team members and new joiners covering initial onboarding, probation reviews, ongoing development and meeting regulatory supervision duties; Manage and implement individual objectives and career progression paths for existing team members to ensure a highly motivated team; Involvement in recruitment of new team members as and when required; Manage the financial planning log in coordination with senior members of the team to ensure workload is assigned in accordance with appropriate prioritisations; Engage and manage key stakeholders within the wider team and the adviser segments to ensure alignment of approach to deliver goals‑based financial plans and investment solutions for clients, incorporating pension, tax and investment disciplines; Involvement in the roll‑out of new financial planning software to enhance the digital experience of our clients; Review & sign off on work to ensure it meets quality standards, including plan reviews; Engage with clients both personally and digitally in the end‑to‑end process from fact‑finding to presenting financial plans; Continue to review and innovate our approach to ensure our financial plans meet the evolving needs of the adviser segments and associated client cohorts; Contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes and solutions; Assist with the production of other client material; Project work as required; Comply with the Risk and Compliance frameworks, policies and procedures associated with the role.
