In order for this to happen successfully, they are seeking a Head of Financial & Management Reporting to join their team in a replacement role due to an international relocation. From speaking with our client, we believe that a candidate with the following would be advantageous: Qualified accountant who trained in a Big 4/Top 6 firm Industry experience or working in the FAAS of a large firm Strong grounding in financial reporting Prior experience of reporting to the Board or VC/PE Firm Proven track record in the delivery of operational excellence Ability to business partner with key internal and external stakeholders. Role and Reporting Lines This role will be the most senior person in finance and will report to the founders and PE firm. Managing a small team of finance and operational professionals, the role will be varied to include: Reporting - Preparation of quarterly management accounts, B/S recs, year-end accounts, liaising with auditors, and preparation of audited financial statements Financial modelling, monthly projections and cashflow planning Working with the commercial team to set realistic/tangible budgets and forecasts coupled investigating variances Compliance - Ensuring financial compliance across various structures Finance Operations - Hands-on involvement Banking - quarterly banking compliance certificate completions, managing senior debt function Fundraising - understanding banking facility agreements and overview of the various lenders and funding options available in the Irish market Tax planning, liaising with tax advisors Ad hoc project work at the request of the PE firm Interested in this position?
