Job Description
Coronation Global Fund Managers (Ireland) Limited (“CGFMIL”) is an Irish‑authorised Super ManCo responsible for the management and oversight of UCITS and AIF structures. CGFMIL operates within the wider Coronation Group, Irish governance framework, with full regulatory accountability and a locally based operating model. Within this environment, we are seeking a hands‑on operational professional to support day‑to‑day control execution, maintenance of evidence, and support of oversight activities.
This role is broad by design and suited to an individual comfortable working close to detail, taking ownership, and contributing across the full operational lifecycle in a lean, senior‑led team. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver work accurately, on time, and with appropriate ownership. Documentation must be clear, consistent and inspection ready. Issues are identified early and progressed constructively, and Senior staff can rely on the individual’s execution and judgement support. Operations remain stable and well controlled, even during peak periods.
Duties & Responsibilities
Operational Execution & Control
Execute defined BAU processes in line with approved procedures and checklists.
Maintain operational trackers, logs and evidence repositories.
Support cash monitoring, settlement checks, and reconciliations.
Monitor operational inboxes and progress items to completion.
Document work clearly and store evidence in agreed locations.
Issue Identification & Escalation Support
Identify operational issues, breaks, and exceptions.
Document issues with clear analysis and context.
Escalate matters through agreed frameworks.
Track remediation actions through to closure.
Oversight & Governance Support
Prepare information and evidence packs for delegate and service‑provider oversight.
Maintain incident, action, and remediation trackers.
Attend operational and service‑provider calls; capture minutes and actions.
Support internal governance forums and committees.
Periodic, Project & Ad‑Hoc Activity
Contribute to periodic operational reporting.
Support audit, regulatory review, and inspection preparation.
Assist with fund launches, wind‑downs, and operational‑model changes.
Contribute continuous improvement of processes and documentation.
Ideal Experience
Essential
Experience in fund operations, ManCo operations, asset management, or fund accounting support.
Comfortable operating in a regulated financial service environment.
Strong attention to detail and deadline management.
Clear written communication and documentation skills.
Strong Excel and data‑handling capability.
Desirable
Exposure to Irish UCITS and/or AIFMD frameworks.
Experience working with Fund administrators, custodians, or transfer agents.
Familiarity with NAV‑related processes and operational controls.
Ideal Qualifications
