The opportunity
As the European Head of Sales & General Manager, you will be the senior executive representative for Core42 in Europe. You will be accountable for building, scaling, and leading the regional business, owning end-to-end commercial performance and general management responsibility. This role combines enterprise sales leadership with full regional P&L ownership, making it ideal for a seasoned technology leader who can set strategy, execute with rigor, and scale a high-growth AI and cloud infrastructure business across Europe.
Your Key Responsibilities
Commercial Leadership (Sales & Growth)
Develop and execute the European go-to-market strategy aligned with global objectives.
Own enterprise pipeline development, deal strategy, pricing, negotiation, and contract execution.
Build, lead, and scale high-performing sales, pre-sales, and business development teams.
Establish trusted C-level relationships with enterprise customers, particularly in regulated and strategic industries.
Own regional revenue targets, forecasting accuracy, pipeline health, and performance reporting.
Drive disciplined sales execution, deal velocity, and conversion through clear governance.
General Management & Regional Ownership
Act as General Manager for Europe with full P&L ownership.
Build and manage regional organizational structure across sales and operations.
Localize global strategy for European markets, including regulatory and cultural considerations.
Partner with Product and Engineering to align offerings with customer needs and compliance (GDPR, EU AI Act).
Represent Core42 with customers, partners, industry forums, and regulatory stakeholders.
Cross-functional Leadership
Align regional sales and operating plans with global leadership objectives.
Partner with Product, Legal, Marketing, Finance, and HR to support local execution.
Serve as a key member of the extended executive leadership team.
Establish strong governance, accountability, and execution discipline across the region.
Qualifications
What we are looking for
20+ years in enterprise technology with 8+ years in senior sales and/or general management roles.
Proven success scaling B2B technology sales across Europe.
Deep experience selling AI infrastructure, cloud platforms, or enterprise SaaS.
Background in high-growth or scale-up environments.
Experience across Ireland, France, Italy, and Southern Europe.
