What you will need to succeed 5+ years of QA automation experience, with proven leadership in test automation strategy Expertise in modern automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium or similar Proven success building or refactoring scalable automation frameworks Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar Familiarity with API testing, integration testing, and microservice-based architectures Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders What we would love to see from you Ability to work with multiple deadlines; Highly motivated and constantly aiming to improve Fluency in English, other European languages a plus; Start-up mindset- comfortable working in a highly dynamic environment. ROLE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES What you will do as a Data Engineer in Companjon Build and maintain data pipelines to support data ingestion from multiple internal and external sources. Lead the integration of new data sources, ensuring data is processed accurately and efficiently. Automate and maintain scheduled reporting workflows to ensure stakeholders have access to timely and accurate insights. Take ownership of the design and implementation of a data quality framework to enhance the reliability and trustworthiness of data assets. Analyse and improve existing data workflows to optimize performance, scalability, and maintainability. Collaborate with other data engineers and analysts, and continuously learn best practices in modern data engineering and analytics. QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS What you will need to succeed Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Approximately 2 years of hands-on experience in a data engineering role. Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and data modelling. Prior Databricks experience and Spark knowledge is a great plus. Experience with data pipeline tools such as Airflow or Azure Data Factory. Some familiarity with data quality frameworks or testing practices is a plus. JOB PURPOSE The Claims Specialist is responsible for efficiently processing and reviewing claims while ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and agreed service levels (SLAs). This role includes handling customer queries related to claims, providing timely updates, and offering solutions to any issues that may arise. The Claims Specialist is also tasked with investigating potential fraud, adjudicating claims fairly, and supporting internal teams with ad hoc tasks. Additionally, this role requires effective collaboration with multilingual customer service teams, assisting with the development of new products, and driving continuous improvements to processes. ROLE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES What you will do as a Claims Specialist in Companjon Process claims within the agreed company SLA, ensuring each claim is assessed in accordance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices. Conduct thorough and fair adjudication of claims, performing investigations and following up with customers and internal departments in a timely manner. Address external and internal customer queries in a professional, solution-oriented manner. Provide language support (including but not limited to French, German, Italian, Spanish, Hungarian) to assist customer service teams with claims-related complaints and complex cases. Collaborate with tech and IT teams in the development and refinement of claims processing products. Conduct Special Investigation Unit (SIU) reviews and escalate potential fraud cases for further investigation. Generate and analyze recurring claims reports to identify trends, operational efficiencies, and areas for improvement. Maintain training materials and ensure team members are updated on best practices and procedural changes. Perform other ad hoc duties as required to support the claims and Customer Service department and business objectives. QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS What you will need to succeed Possession of one of the following qualifications: APA (Personal General Insurance), CIP, Accredited Product Professional, Associate or Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute. Previous experience in a claims handling, insurance, or related field preferred. Knowledge of insurance policies and claims adjudication processes. Experience in fraud detection and escalation is a plus. COMPETENCES / SOFT SKILLS What we would love to see from you Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
