Position Summary An exciting role is available within a fast-expanding international organisation, offering the chance to play a hands-on role in shaping and strengthening group-wide finance operations. This position sits within the central finance function and is responsible for ensuring accurate financial data, effective cost tracking, and reliable reporting across multiple entities. You will work closely with colleagues across the business and internationally, contributing to clear, actionable financial insight that supports informed decision-making. Core Duties and Accountabilities Financial Reporting & Analysis Compile periodic financial reports, including month-end and year-end outputs Deliver meaningful analysis of financial performance, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities Ensure accuracy and completeness of ledger entries and reconciliations Prepare commentary to support management understanding of results Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting Coordinate the preparation of annual financial plans and ongoing forecasts Track actual performance against plans and explain deviations Assist teams with cost management and forward-looking financial insight Governance, Controls & Compliance Apply relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements Contribute to audit processes and respond to auditor queries Support the maintenance and enhancement of internal control frameworks Oversee reconciliation and reporting of fixed assets and inventory Cost Management & Performance Measurement Evaluate cost structures and profitability across products or services Monitor financial KPIs and support performance reporting Assist with commercial initiatives such as pricing reviews, investment appraisals, and efficiency projects Business Partnering & Process Improvement Act as a finance point of contact for operational and management teams Translate financial information for non-finance stakeholders Support continuous improvement of financial processes, systems, and reporting tools Coordinate with other group entities to resolve intercompany matters Candidate Profile Technical Background & Experience Professionally qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) At least two years experience in industry and/or professional services Strong systems capability, with advanced Excel skills and experience using Power BI or similar tools Proven ability to analyse complex data and present clear conclusions Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities Personal Qualities Demonstrates integrity, sound judgement, and professionalism Curious and proactive, with a practical, solutions-focused approach Adaptable and comfortable working to tight or shifting deadlines Collaborative by nature and contributes positively within a team environment Driven, enthusiastic, and reliable in delivering high-quality work Committed to ongoing learning and professional growth Skills: Financial Accounting Management Accounting Benefits: Work From Home
