Job Purpose The Accounting Specialist will support key accounting activities for the CNH Capital North America team. This role includes improving processes (internally and with external partners), leading and developing accounting staff, and ensuring the accuracy of system‑generated and manual accounting entries under US GAAP and IFRS. This position will complete and review monthly account reconciliations in compliance with SOX requirements and collaborate with IT, FP&A, Operations, Treasury, and other finance teams to resolve accounting issues across the business. This position is eligible for our hybrid work model working three (3) days on‑site in our office in Waterford, WI and two (2) days remote/home office. Key Responsibilities Supports primary accounting for the CNH Capital North America ledger in both US GAAP and IFRS Prepare/review monthly and year‑end account reconciliations in accordance with the global account reconciliation policy Perform, analyze, evaluate and interpret accounting and financial information to identify problems and alternate courses of action as they relate to the supported products, entities and/or reconciliations Prepare necessary work papers and documentation to support analysis of GL account balances and transactions. This includes work papers necessary for external auditors relative to the 10‑K and other audits CNH Capital LLC is subject to Work to streamline and improve accounting processes, including working with other departments, as business needs change within the department/organization Utilize various CNH systems to perform operational tasks and gather financial data Assist in the coordination of ongoing projects, including new system implementations as needed Experience Required Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related degree 3 years of related experience Experience in utilizing SAP to prepare/review journal entries Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Preferred Qualifications A working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and international financial reporting standards (IFRS) Envision, recommend and implement methods for streamlining accounting processes within the department Prior experience working in an accounting department Self‑motivated, able to work under minimal supervision and be proactive Independent thinking and attention to detail Pay Transparency The annual salary for this role is USD $63,000.00 – $92,400.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
