Responsibilities Conduct monthly, quarterly and yearly closing activities for Group operations (20+ entities) Review and finalise the monthly management reporting pack for the entities allocated to you ensuring the continuous and accurate maintenance of the nominal ledger and timely reconciliation of all sub accounts and intercompany balances Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory reports to regulator within stated deadlines Present on a monthly basis final management reporting pack to CFO Participate in process improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices to ensure the finance team is consistently pushing the boundaries in terms of efficiency and accuracy Mentor, support and train team of Assistant Financial Accountants to prepare the underlying reports to feed into the monthly management reporting pack Develop strong working relationships with Bulgarian colleagues and seek out ways to deliver monthly reports faster and more efficiently Business partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to implement new and efficient processes and effective controls Conducting analysis of complex accounting issues and providing accounting/financial analysis to senior management and other stakeholders as necessary Co-ordinating external audit activities and regular liaison with 3rd parties regarding local statutory and regulatory reporting Participate in ad hoc global projects as required Skills / Requirements Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ACA) The ideal person will have 2-3 years PQE with Big 4 or Top 10 audit training.
