Clúid is now seeking three exceptional Non‑Executive Directors to join their Board and help shape the future of housing in Ireland. This is a voluntary, unpaid appointment with an estimated time commitment of 12 days per year, including five Board meetings and two strategy days. Successful candidates will have a strong track record of board‑level contribution – whether as an executive or non‑executive – and will demonstrate strategic insight, sound judgement, and a commitment to effective governance. Role Overview An Electrician working within a responsive repairs team, ensuring all electrical work is completed to the highest standard and in line with our purpose: “right repair, right time, first time.” Key Responsibilities Deliver efficient in‑house repairs, including responsive repairs, voids, subcontracting, and out‑of‑hours work. Assess and carry out electrical repairs while maintaining quality and safety standards. Coordinate with the Operations Centre to manage customer enquiries and job scheduling. Provide out‑of‑hours support on a rota‑based system. Complete debriefs and provide accurate job details to the Resource Planner. Work flexibly to meet business needs. Maintain and care for all transported equipment and mobile devices issued by the company. Adhere to Clúid’s values, policies, and high standards of health and safety. Experience in ordering and collecting materials, plant hire, and property maintenance. Experience working in the social housing sector. Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, and teamwork skills. Capable of working at heights and with detailed plans/drawings. Role Overview Reporting to : Field Supervisor Location : Dublin and Surrounding areas Contract : Permanent The Department has a Dublin-based Resource Planning Team (Clúid Works), supporting four regionally based repairs trade teams delivering a comprehensive repairs service across the country. This team works alongside the Asset Management Team, which is also split geographically, and manages the planned and cyclical programmes of work and supports the New Business Team bringing new properties into management. Key Responsibilities Service Delivery : Responsible for ensuring all repairs are completed in accordance with our Purpose “right repair, right time, first time” by delivering an efficient in-house repairs service ranging from responsive repairs, voids, subcontracting and out of hours repairs. Training : From time to time if requested, to act as a mentor to trainees within the organisation and encourage a learning environment. Health & Safety : To take personal responsibility for your own health, safety and welfare and that of colleagues in the workplace and ensure a clean, secure and safe working environment.
