Reporting directly to the Meetings & Events Manager, you will be responsible for maximising the sales potential and achieving the meeting room sales budget of the hotel. Complete inquiry forms and send quotations, followed by contracts for each business opportunity. Accurately process, distribute, record, and file all client correspondence, including contracts, quotations, confirmations, and cancellations, and ensure appropriate follow-up. Meet all client needs and manage accounts for all meeting room, wedding and event clients. Post all meeting room charges and issue receipts to clients. Monitor competitor meeting room offerings. Conduct weekly telesales to acquire new business opportunities. Manage and maintain up-to-date databases. Provide weekly and monthly reports on account performance and general activity. Demonstrated excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Attend the Wedding Showcase in RDS to help drive brand recognition and generate wedding enquiries. Maintain existing client accounts and generate new business from these accounts according to agreed targets. Assist in conducting site inspections of the property for prospective clients and wedding couples. Gather and manage feedback from clients, ensuring effective communication with other departments as needed. Support negotiations with clients to maximise revenue while meeting their needs. Assist in finalising bookings and upselling where possible to enhance revenue potential. Participate in managing inquiries from third-party platforms as needed. What You Will Need: An interest in events and the hospitality industry. 1-year previous event sales or coordinating experience in a hotel or venue is advantageous, but not essential. Experience with Opera System is advantageous but not essential. Experience within the hospitality industry is advantageous but not essential. Experience working with customers. An excellent commandof the English language Possess the ability to see an opportunity and act on it to secure revenue for the Hotel. Strong selling and interpersonal skills. Oversee hotel operations, greet guests, and inspire the team to deliver exceptional hospitality. Possess strong operational knowledge with the ability to work across departments as needed. Assist other managers with interviewing and recruitment Coach and train new employees to ensure everyone feels confident in their new roles. Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle conflicts or complaints smoothly. Requirements: 3-4 years experience as a Deputy or Operations Manager in a large hotel. As the Corporate Sales Manager, you will report to the Cluster Director of Sales. Key Duties and Responsibilities Source and win new business local and global across all owned business segments. Collaborate with the CDOS and ensure that objectives are achieved in the Sales business plan. Represent the hotels at sales team meetings, internal & external customer led events as appropriate. Adoption of all available tools to support efficient ways of working including CRM, BI Tool, Market Intelligence Tools and Solver. Customer Facing - Owned Segments Execute a proactive sales plan to develop and nurture new accounts across all owned segments for the hotels. Identification and management of new opportunities in your market in line with hotels strategy and across the wider Dalata portfolio. Collaborate with Account Management Team to nurture existing, and secure new opportunities following the Dalata sales process. Instil a culture of cross selling, referrals and sharing of leads. Strategic approach for key segments of owned segments and identify opportunities to drive revenue and reduce costs. To participate fully in all sales activities including telesales, sales calls, corporate entertaining, fam trips, social events, and overseas sales trips, as necessary. Planning & Forecasting Collaborate with CDOS on rate strategy, budget planning, forecasting for owned segments and identifying & analysing opportunities to ensure they fit with the hotels business strategy. Undertake monthly corporate tracking of corporate accounts in the hotels to monitor production and more importantly to identify any decreases and take necessary action to remedy. Collaborate with CDOS on the analysis of GDS production reports & market intelligence information to develop new leads from this business channel for the hotels. Timely production of monthly & ad hoc reports. Execute actions from quarterly sales activity plans to support business needs.
