Role Overview: The Engineering Lead Analyst is a senior level position (Vice President) responsible for leading a variety of engineering activities including the design, acquisition and deployment of hardware, software and network infrastructure. You will be a technology subject matter expert in Citi’s global infrastructure for the management and support of employee mobile devices and applications, with a remit covering all geographies and business lines. What you'll do: Serve as a technology SME for internal and external stakeholders and provide direction for all firm mandated controls and compliance initiatives, all projects within the group and in creating a technology domain roadmap. Ensure that all integration of functions meet business goals. Define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process enhancements. Recommend product customization for system integration. Provide expert knowledge to assist support teams in troubleshooting issues in the environment. Exhibit knowledge of how own specialty area contributes to the business and apply knowledge of competitors, products and services. Advise or mentor junior team members. Impact the engineering function by influencing decisions through advice, counsel or facilitating services. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. What we need from you: 6-10 years of relevant experience in an Infrastructure Engineering role. Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment. Strong knowledge of Intune for Mobile Device Management essential. Knowledge of BlackBerry UEM Infrastructure desirable. Experience of managing stakeholders and driving progress on projects. Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication. Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices. Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills. Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams. Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative. Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements. Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience. Master’s degree preferred. The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities. This is a Tech Lead role in Citimargin Technology team which is a part of Prime Services Technology within the Markets Technology group. The core application is Margin Calculation Services and Reporting. This application calculates Margin, develops multiple margin methodologies and calculators, creates Client Reports, Client Extracts and Operational Reports using a variety of technologies using the Java framework. It uses MSSQL, Oracle to persist the margin data. Application user base is in NAM, APAC and EMEA. Responsibilities: Lead Tech teams to deliver projects in the margin space. Work with upstream, downstream, reference data and market data teams and develop new margin methodologies/calculators, enhance the current system. Conduct performance analysis of the application code and its optimization to achieve faster calculation times. Familiarity with and enthusiasm for software engineering best practices such as testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery. Utilize Git for source code management and collaborate with team members through regular code reviews, testing, debugging, and collaborative development practices. Perform Dev Integration testing, UAT rollouts, Production Deployments and Production Support. Provide business as usual (BAU) coverage. Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements. Resolve a variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards. Provide expertise in the area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint. Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation. Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals. Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions. Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Qualifications: Significant relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role. Extensive experience in system analysis and in programming of software applications. Experience in managing and implementing successful projects. Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development. Excellent knowledge of algorithms and data structures, design patterns. Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications. Strong Java experience: Java core, collections, concurrency, streams. Frameworks and APIs: Spring (Core, Batch, Integration, MVC, Boot, Data), Hibernate, Jackson, JAX RS, JPA, JAXB. Building tools: Maven or Gradle. Experience with distributed caches like Apache Gemfire will be a plus. Messaging: JMS, Kafka. Testing: JUnit, Mocking frameworks (Mockito, Power Mock). Understanding of microservice architecture. Experience with development of distributed systems. Experience in performance enhancements using parallel processing, multithreading. Understanding locking/synchronization. Tools: IntelliJ Idea or Eclipse, Linux as advanced user, Git, Jira. Understanding Docker and Kubernetes. Experience in RESTful API development and integration, deployment framework and source control experience such as Git. Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements. Experience in managing and implementing successful projects. Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods. Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate. Demonstrated leadership and project management skills. Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication. Education: Bachelor’s degree/Master's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
