Reporting to the Terminal Manager, the Terminal Operator is responsible for daily operations at the terminal as directed by the Senior Terminal Operator and Terminal Manager. This is a full-time permanent role based on site in Dublin Port Responsibilities: Plays a key part in ensuring the smooth and safe handling of fuel products within the terminal. Ensures that all tasks are performed efficiently, in compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and in coordination with other terminal personnel. Performs the hands-on, day-to-day tasks required for the terminals operations. Manages the loading and unloading of products, operating terminal equipment, and adhering to the established safety and quality protocols. Adheres to safety procedures for operating terminal equipment, handling hazardous materials, and responding to emergency situations. Assists in maintaining the terminals equipment and reporting any issues or malfunctions. Ensures that terminal activities are properly documented and recorded in accordance with operational protocols. Plays lead role in terminal housekeeping. Awareness of the implementation and compliance with aviation regulations, following EI/JIG Standard 1530. Carry out administrative duties when required Person Specification: Collaboration and Support, working closely with other terminal operators and staff to ensure efficient workflow and task completion. Reporting to the Terminal Manager, the Senior Terminal Operator is responsible for the hands-on management of daily operations at the terminal and participates in day-to-day tasks, ensuring smooth and safe terminal operations. This is a full-time permanent role based on site in Galway. Role Description: The Senior Terminal Operator (STO): Leads and actively participates in all terminal activities, ensuring efficient operation of systems, processes, and personnel. Manages work permits, supervising terminal maintenance, and coordinating daily operations to meet business objectives. Ensures strict adherence to safety, health, environmental, and quality standards while working closely with contractors and external personnel. Responsible for supporting cost control efforts by optimising operational efficiency and maximising resource utilisation. Conduct and approve Safe Job Analyses (SJA) for relevant activities and ensure the safe execution of all tasks. Provide input on operational budgets and assist in monitoring expenditures related to terminal operations. Assist and coordinate small to medium-sized terminal projects, including maintenance tasks, infrastructure upgrades, and operational improvements. Supervise and conduct product sampling and quality control processes, ensuring that all products meet regulatory and company standards. Education: Certificate in mechanical, automation or electrical qualification. Relevant experience may compensate for lack of education.
