  • Electronic Health Record (EHR) Senior Application Analyst (Grade VI) This is an exciting time to join the new Electronic Health Record (EHR) team as an Electronic Health Record (EHR) Senior Application Analyst (Grade VI). This role will be varied, fast-paced and you'll be part of a team dedicated to implementing the EHR for the new CHI hospital. Purpose of the Role: CHI will work with Epic Systems, a software company who are a world leader in this technology, to implement an electronic health record (EHR) system across the organisation, which will go live at the same time as the new hospital opens - as Ireland's first fully digitalised hospital. The ICT programme for the New Children's Hospital, including outpatient and urgent care centres, comprises of several work streams including: EHR & Clinical ICT Systems: Deploying the Epic Electronic Healthcare Record (EHR) and supporting systems Corporate & Non-Clinical ICT: Implementation of a Facilities Management and Catering System, plus supporting Financial, Human Resources and Facilities Management Systems upgrades / integration / implementation Infrastructure: Deployment of technology, including end user devices, to support the above work streams in addition to technology solutions which enhance workflow or the patient experience Programme Support & Business Engagement: Managing an integrated ICT & EHR programme plan and designing and delivering organisational readiness activities including change, training and benefits management The Senior EHR Application Analyst (Grade VI) is a core member of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) team. The post-holder is responsible for design and configuration of the assigned EHR module(s) and will also support testing, training and organisational readiness activities during the implementation phase to HIMSS level 6. They will assist in the development of plans for go-live and subsequently support post go-live stabilisation and optimisation phases. As part of this role, the Senior EHR Application Analyst will attend accredited EHR vendor training and receive certification in system configuration. The post holder is expected to supervise and provide day-to-day line-management to the EHR Application Analysts and EHR Application Support team members and assist the wider EHR team to meet the needs of the operational, administrative and clinical deliverables of the CHI EHR.   • Purpose of role: The new post holder will support the development of a world class Department of Paediatric orthopaedic spinal surgery within CHI, and along with his/her colleagues, support the paediatric orthopaedic consultant body in the assessment and management of complex patients. The post holder will provide clinical support, advice and consultation on orthopaedic pathologies as required. The new post holder will work closely with other colleagues and multi-disciplinary teams in the clinical and administrative staff in the unit to develop referral pathways, service coordination, and the planning and delivery of an efficient and effective service. The post holder will be expected to participate in peer reviews, guideline development, development of policy and procedure, data collection, governance of service, staff recruitment, staff training and development of the service.   • CT Clinical Specialist Radiographer Purpose of the Role Reporting to the Radiography Services Managers (RSMs) or designate, the CT Specialist Radiographer has a pivotal role in service planning, coordinating, and managing activity and allocated resources within the unit. The main responsibilities are quality assurance, scheduling workflow, staff development, facilitating communication and professional/clinical leadership. The Clinical Specialist Radiographer CT will be primarily responsible for ensuring that CT investigations are performed to a high standard of technical quality in a caring and efficient manner and in line with established guidelines and operating procedures. The post holder will be an active member of the multi-disciplinary team and will lead and supervise radiographic and other staff in CT resulting in the delivery of an efficient, effective, and quality radiography service. They need to work collaboratively within than multi-disciplinary team, liaising with medical, nursing and administrative colleagues to ensure safe and co-ordinated delivery of patient centred care. The CT Clinical Specialist Radiographer will be responsible for the provision of radiation protection within the CT environment, reducing the risks of any adverse radiation effects in compliance with local policies, national legislation, and international regulations.
