The role supports high‑volume manufacturing in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and consistent product quality. Key Responsibilities Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication plans. Fabricate steel components using cutting, grinding, drilling, forming, and welding processes. Assemble structural components ensuring accurate dimensions and tolerances. Operate fabrication equipment such as: MIG/Stick welding machines Plasma cutters Saws (band saw, chop saw) Press brakes and rollers Grinders and power tools Conduct weld preparation, finishing, and quality checks. Ensure welds meet internal quality standards and any relevant codes. Inspect finished products for defects or deviations. Complete rework where required. Key Responsibilities Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the company’s EHS Management System in compliance with relevant legislation, standards (e.g. ISO 45001), and best practices. Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections across operations and support functions. Qualifications & Experience Degree/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (or related discipline) or equivalent professional qualification. 2 years’ relevant experience in a health and safety experience in construction or M&E/fit‑out environments is preferred. Working knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation and relevant standards (e.g. ISO 45001, ISO 14001), Irish Construction Regulations, risk assessment, RAMS and permit systems. Experience in preparing risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety inspections. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS management software systems. Experience in live environments and coordinating multiple trades. Key Skills & Attributes Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, and coach front‑line teams.
