The role holder will act as a key point of contact for internal and external personnel regarding giftware queries. The role holder will work closely with Buyers, Stock Controllers, Suppliers, Warehousing and Stores in order to deliver a smooth and efficient service within a fast-paced environment. This role will report to the Gift & Home Buyer. Key Responsibilities To Support the Buyers and Stock Controller in the allocation and management of Carraig Donn brands and branded ranges. Create purchase orders for initial new lines, and ongoing replenishment to stores. Maintain and update stock status on the system, accounting for discontinued, current and new lines. Manage the delivery schedule to stores ensuring suppliers deliver on agreed dates, and stores are furnished with the schedule on a daily basis. Manage external deliveries (domestic and international) to the distribution centre. Ensure all stock is bar‑coded, communicating with buyers and suppliers where necessary. Ensure relevant suppliers are supplied with Carraig Donn barcodes where necessary. Reconcile prices charged on invoices to prices agreed when placing order. Set up products on Futura for European Suppliers Update and maintain Supplier Templates, communicate product changes with the Buyer and Shops Create sale packs for stores and update and maintain the system to reflect this Create the main content for the giftware book for each season. Catalogue hold/clear product samples seasonally. Be available for store visits as well as supplier visits where needed. Prepare sales performance reports for the Buyers, highlight slow/fast‑moving lines. Communicate on a daily basis with stores, head office and external suppliers. To provide back up and support to the Retail Stores as directed the Buyers, Operations Managers and/or the Retail Support Office Manager. Maintain office filing system, ensuring filing is completed in a timely and accurate manner Deal with department administration queries as and when they arise Ad hoc duties as required by the Buyers & Retail Support Office Manager.
