Job Description Duties This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
To shadow qualified staff to gain skills in food preparation, cooking, presentation, serving, storage of food, maintain kitchen hygiene and store room practices. This position will be based in Dublin 2.
Assisting Chef with food preparation
Washing, peeling, chopping and cutting of foodstuffs and ingredients
Assisting with the storage of foodstuffs and ingredients in line with correct storeroom practices
Assisting with cooking, presentation and serving of meals
Monitoring kitchen supplies and ordering / restocking supplies as necessary
Assisting with kitchen cleaning duties and ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest hygiene and safety standards expected
Adhering to HACCP requirements and regulations
Undertaking other kitchen related duties as assigned by Chef / Manager
