Senior Quantity Surveyor – Commercial & Residential Wexford Negotiable Salary & Benefits Capex Recruitment are partnering with a specialist commercial building contractor to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor based in Wexford. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well‑established contractor delivering a mix of commercial and residential projects across the region. This role is primarily office‑based, with occasional travel to project sites, and offers exposure to multiple live projects within a busy and growing commercial team. The Role As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for managing the commercial performance of several concurrent projects, ensuring strong cost control and contractual compliance across all phases of delivery. Key responsibilities will include: Managing the commercial and financial aspects of multiple construction projects Overseeing subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and appointment Preparing cost plans, valuations, budgets, and financial reports Managing variations, change control, and final account negotiations Monitoring project cash flow and ensuring accurate cost forecasting Liaising with site teams, clients, and subcontractors on commercial matters Supporting contract administration across a range of building projects Providing commercial input across both pre‑construction and live project stages Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will have strong experience in quantity surveying within a main contractor environment, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
