  • Project and Partnerships Coordinator

    Role Overview The Administration and Outreach Executive will be responsible for directly supporting the ongoing management, and continued expansion of, the Cairn Apprenticeship Programme, and related career pathways initiatives. This is an exciting role, that will be focused on the programme administration requirements, outreach and engagement. Working closely with the Project and Partnerships Lead, they will play a key role in developing the Apprenticeship Programme into a market leader within Ireland’s construction sector, and establishing new career pathway initiatives within the company’s long-term strategy. Key Responsibilities Apprentice Data Administration and Tracking Overseeing the day-to-day administration requirements for apprentice enrolments, registrations, payments, subcontractor invoices and all related data management. Ongoing data input and analysis to keep internal teams up to date on programme statistics and budget spends. Work closely with the Programme Lead to keep them up to date with registration and completion figures, and general trends within the programme. Play a proactive role in supporting wider organisational feedback and marketing related to the programme. Outreach and Engagement Supporting the Programme Lead with a busy outreach and engagement schedule, to promote the programme, and inform prospective candidates about its structure and benefits. This will include schools and third level engagement, such as careers fairs and recruitment events, as well working with the Marketing team on internal and external promotional campaigns. General Programme Support & Cross-Functional Collaboration As and when required, support both the Programme Lead and internal teams within Cairn, with requests related to the overall objectives of the Apprenticeship Programme. Work with other teams and functions, especially the People and Marketing teams, on collaborative pieces of work related to the Programme’s objectives. Being able to optimise Programme data and statistics, so they can be presented to internal and external audiences in an accessible manner, for the purposes of analysis or promotion. Experience & Skills Required The successful candidate for this role, will be able to clearly demonstrate a capacity to understand, manage and analyse contract and payments data, as well as administrative requirements related to the processing of this data. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel especially, but across the MS suite, is required. While some experience in invoice management and digital filing is also preferred. The successful candidate must also be able to demonstrate a strong interest in the interpersonal aspects of this role. Especially the engagement and outreach support required for the Programme Lead. A proactive approach to this support is required. Qualifications A Level 8 Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Economics, Administration or a related field is required. Continuous Professional Development certifications, or additional courses undertaken, related to Microsoft Excel, data management and administration, are also advantageous. Responsibilities Typically the candidate will be expected to undertake and assist with the following duties: A member of the cost planning team tasked with the preparation of cost plans from early feasibility through to detailed cost planning ready for handover to project team. Participation in design team meetings through the design phases offering cost advice to ensure the financial viability of the project without compromising the design. Ensure that the design team stay cognizant of the most efficient unit types, unit and project layouts and building materials when progressing a scheme design Liaison with project delivery teams ensuring construction budgets for upcoming developments are robust. The Candidate At least 7 years' post-Graduate experience with a PQS/Main Contractor/Developer. An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets. Good IT skills with competency at Buildsoft-Cubit, Cost-ex or equivalent, Microsoft Word and Excel A willingness to attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques, and skills.
