We have a new opportunity for a driven and motived Hire Controller to join our successful and team based in Dublin. In this role you will be: Coordinate end-to-end hire lifecycle management, including order intake, asset allocation, contract setup, delivery scheduling, and off-hire processing to ensure seamless customer fulfilment. Optimise fleet utilisation rates by dynamically allocating equipment based on availability, location, and demand forecasts, reducing idle time and maximising ROI on assets. Analyse hire demand patterns and utilisation data to support capacity planning, seasonal forecasting, and strategic fleet expansion decisions. Serve as the primary interface between customers, transport teams, and engineering units to ensure timely delivery, installation, and collection of hired equipment. Manage commercial aspects of hire agreements, including pricing validation, contract compliance, billing accuracy, and margin optimisation. Monitor service and maintenance schedules of hired assets in collaboration with engineering teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations (e.g., LOLER/GA1) and minimise downtime. Implement process improvements within hire operations by identifying inefficiencies, automating workflows, and enhancing system utilisation (ERP/CRM platforms) Maintain accurate real-time records of fleet inventory across multiple depots using internal asset management systems. Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements related to equipment hire, transport logistics, and health & safety standards.
