We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Data Scientist to join our AI Hub Engineering team. This role is located in Dublin, Ireland. Impact Areas Develop AI/ML and Generative AI / LLM models to address challenging and impactful business problems for BNY, from proof of concepts to production‑level deliverables, and produce thorough model evaluation and documentation in order to support decision and assess model risk Define, create and maintain actionable insights using data science and statistical analysis. Prepare assessments to provide business decision‑supporting facts Thoroughly evaluate models and produce supporting documentation, thoroughly assess analysis results to ensure correct business decision‑supporting Develop innovative solutions and produce patent disclosures to demonstrate RD&I Collaborate with colleagues and subject matter experts (SME) to obtain data and domain knowledge needed to conduct advanced reviews Continuously support and develop skills across AI/ML and GenAI and increase the business acumen Stay highly up to date with the latest advances in AI/GenAI, technology innovations and banking industry trends. We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Fund Reporting Manager to join our Financial Reporting team. This role is located in Dublin. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Provide oversight and set priorities for multiple teams responsible for preparing and reviewing financial reports on behalf of assigned clients and funds. Manage the performance of teams and set area priorities. Provide oversight and guidance in setting processes that check for completeness and accuracy of disclosure in financial statements. Resolve complex escalated issues from team members. Oversee relationships with senior-level auditors and clients to ensure financial reporting meets their expectations and accurately depicts fund performance. Ensure financial reporting meets Corporate and applicable regulatory standards. Lead analysis of changes in accounting and disclosure standards to direct process changes needed to ensure compliance. Lead presentation of fund reports to Board of Directors to ensure good governance and communicate complex or difficult concepts. Recruit, direct, motivate, and develop staff, maximizing their individual contribution, professional growth, and ability to function effectively as a team. Manage a Fund Reporting area primarily through subordinate managers. Responsible for achievement of financial reporting area goals, talent management, and supervision of teams. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Significant experience (10yrs +) of managing small/medium sized teams of professional staff, preferably within a fund administrator, or Big 4 firm with fund investments exposure Strong accounting knowledge covering relevant accounting standards and regulations including IFRS, US GAAP and Lux GAAP, and investment fund structures (Mutual funds, hedge funds etc.) Professional accounting qualification advantageous, preferably ACA / ACCA / CIMA, Bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience. We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Private Equity Senior Associate: Fund/Client Accounting to join our Private Equity team. This role is located in Dublin, Ireland and will be working in a hybrid capacity. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Conduct accounting services on behalf of assigned clients and moderately complex funds including determining net asset values, calculating fund performance, allocating expenses, and preparing reports. Perform complex Fund/Client Accounting responsibilities in the areas of driving Service Improvement plans, targeting efficiencies, enhancing processes, and specialist review functions. Provide input into methodologies and check the work of more junior team members. Provide guidance and review work related to cash and asset reconciliations relating to complex accounts or transactions. Resolve reconciliation of accounts for more complex or atypical transactions and review work of junior team members. Draft reports for clients regarding the performance of complex funds. Review draft reports completed by more junior staff. Regularly interact with clients in answering questions and resolving issues regarding fund reports and accounting processes. Assist in evaluating GAAP and/or IFRS rules to determine impact of new regulations on BNY fund accounting practices. No direct reports; provide guidance to less experienced team members. May have people management responsibilities in some geographies. Contribute to the achievement of related teams' objectives. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Knowledge of Geneva or Investran accounting systems is required. Private Equity experience essential. Client / Fund Accounting background mandatory.
