We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Group Manager (Senior Vice President) to join our Fund Accounting team. This role is located in Dublin, Ireland. We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Fund/Client Accounting Senior Associate to join our Alternative Operations team. This role is located in Dublin, Ireland and will be working in a hybrid capacity. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Conduct accounting services on behalf of assigned clients and moderately complex funds, including determining net asset values, calculating fund performance, allocating expenses, and preparing reports. Perform complex Fund/Client Accounting responsibilities in the areas of driving service improvement plans, targeting efficiencies, enhancing processes, and specialist review functions. Provide input into methodologies and review the work of team members with less experience. Offer guidance and review work related to cash and asset reconciliations involving complex accounts or transactions. Resolve reconciliation of accounts for more complex or atypical transactions and review work of less experienced team members. Draft reports for clients regarding the performance of complex funds and review draft reports completed by less experienced staff. Regularly interact with clients to answer questions and resolve issues regarding fund reports and accounting processes. Assist in evaluating GAAP and/or IFRS rules to determine the impact of new regulations on BNY fund accounting practices. Contribute to the achievement of related team objectives. May have people management responsibilities in some geographies; no direct reports required. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Private Equity experience required. BNY Transfer Agency provides fund administration services to a multitude of clients including Money Markets, Mutual Funds and ETFs. The Client Operations team provides both client service and oversight duties for and on behalf of our clients, including management of client queries, client escalations, supporting the offshore processing teams on complex queries and management of risk throughout the transfer agency process as identified in our reconciliation process. Reporting to Head of Client Operations, the successful candidate will in a client‑facing role and be responsible for the Client Operations group including strategies within the team with respect to automation and governance, representing the function via client onboarding and client change and development of the framework within the team.
