About the Role We’re seeking a technically minded Product Marketing Manager to lead the go-to-market product strategy and position our solution as the industry standard for enterprise industrial organisations. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role serves as a critical link between Product and Commercial teams, leveraging expertise to translate complex capabilities into clear, compelling value for industrial buyer personas. You will own the product marketing strategy and initiatives, mastering the Protex platform, crafting compelling positioning, driving product adoption, and creating impactful enablement programs. This role also requires leveraging market insights to align with product strategy, ensuring Protex continues to be recognized as a leader in workplace safety innovation. What You’ll Do Refine and expand our existing buyer personas to create compelling positioning and messaging. Partner with the Client Success and Solutions teams to develop and manage impactful client stories and case studies. Be the voice of the customer, partnering with the Product team to develop and execute release strategies that drive adoption, maximize impact, and fuel expansion efforts. Drive product enablement and training programs to equip Sales and Customer Success teams with a deep understanding of our solution’s technical capabilities and business value. Create impactful technical and thought leadership content tailored to address the challenges of our target buyer personas at every stage of the pipeline. Partner with the Product team to provide market and competitor insights that inform and shape product strategy. Cultivate and manage a community of Protex users and influencers to foster a network of passionate brand advocates. Build and maintain strong relationships with market analysts to strategically position Protex favorably with senior decision-makers. What You’ll Need 5+ years of experience in product marketing or a combination of product marketing, product management, and sales engineering roles, with a strong technical foundation. Proven experience in complex, non-traditional SaaS environments, ideally with a background in AI or machine learning companies. Experience building and executing go-to-market strategies for technical non-traditional SaaS products. A genuine passion for helping to create products that delight and resonate with users. Analytical and curious, with the ability to connect insights and identify patterns to align pain points and market opportunities with product strategy. Track record of translating complex technical concepts into compelling business narratives for industrial applications. Demonstrated success in building credibility and fostering strong cross-functional relationships to ensure alignment, buy-in, and clarity. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with confidence in delivering to large audiences and appearing on camera. A skilled storyteller with the ability to craft compelling messaging and collateral tailored to resonate with our buyer personas. What You'll Do: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers. Collaborate across teams (Engineering, Product, Client Success) to ensure effective problem resolution. Support client-facing teams with explanations of complex problems to non-technical stakeholders via calls, emails and documentation. Debug and resolve camera-related and networking issues across client installations using Linux systems via AWS. Monitor and investigate system issues using AWS CloudWatch analysing error codes and logs to identify root causes. Troubleshoot integration issues between edge devices and cloud (database), ensuring uninterrupted system performance. Provide escalated technical support for system installations and deployments. Debug Python and JavaScript code as needed to resolve client-facing issues. Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, tools and systems, documenting technical solutions and for the purposes of knowledge base development. What You'll Need: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical role, preferably in the AI or computer vision industry. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred. Willingness to travel as required for client meetings, conferences, and on-site visits. Excellent stakeholder management and relationship management skills. Technical skills and/or languages: Demonstrated AWS experience. Demonstrated expertise with Python coding language. Demonstrated experience with technical tools, including: AWS Console (or other cloud services tool). Git. Demonstrated experience with Linux/Unix, including: Networking on Linux/Unix. Command Line interface. Nice to Have: Previous experience working in a startup environment.
