What will you do? At BearingPoint, our product owners are involved in all aspects of IT solution design. The product owner will work closely with client representatives to understand and document requirements and help to design an appropriate solution. They act as the liaison between business owners and the development team, conveying the solution vision and ensuring client goals and priorities are understood and met. Strong communication and a good level of technical understanding are essential. Key Responsibilities Requirements Gathering: Engage with stakeholders to define, gain agreement, and achieve closure on business and technical requirements. Sprint Planning and Estimation: Collaborate with development teams to refine and estimate user stories. Backlog Management: Prioritise the backlog, ensuring critical improvements and changes are addressed first. Collaborating with Development Team: Work closely with the development team to ensure the solution delivered meets client requirements and expectations. Quality Assurance: Work with QA to ensure requirements are testable. About You At least 7 years’ experience in a similar role as a product owner, systems analyst, or business analyst on large systems integration projects. Third level qualification in Technology/Business. Experience facilitating workshops with large groups of stakeholders. Experience specifying business requirements as user stories and acceptance criteria. Experience in an Agile delivery environment with tools, ceremonies, and practices including user stories, backlog grooming, estimation, prioritisation, sprints, retrospectives, stand-ups, Definition of Done/Ready, Scrum/Kanban, etc. Experience with Problem and Incident Management processes & procedures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good collaboration and interpersonal skills. Excellent English communication and documentation skills; ability to communicate with technical teams. Good technical understanding; SQL proficiency desirable. Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI is desirable. Flexible and able to work independently or in a team with changing priorities.
