Responsibilities Promote safe working practices and ensure the implementation of company HSE policy and procedures on site. Carry out regular site HSE inspections and report findings to relevant personnel. Ensure the project has the relevant HSE documentation and that HSE project plans meet company standards.     Overview We are recruiting a Project Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor to join our civils project in Cork. The role guides, supports and advises Project Managers and other relevant personnel on the setting up, implementation and continuous maintenance of HSE systems and standards on site in accordance with BAM Safety and Environmental Management Systems.     Overview Building a sustainable tomorrow BAM are recruiting a Senior Tax Manager to join their team based in the Kill, Co.Kildare Head Office. Reporting to the Head of Tax (UK&I Division), you will have responsibility for Irish and UK VAT compliance and advisory matters. The role is to develop the existing VAT reporting systems, processes and controls as well as provide VAT advice on complex areas and projects. The Senior VAT Manager will oversee the preparation of and review of VAT, RCT, Intrastats and any other related indirect tax returns prepared by the shared service teams. Responsibilities Review and development of VAT compliance processes for BAM UK&I Division within the scope of local and international laws and requirements. Engage with the business to build robust data management and control systems for VAT, RCT and Intrastats reporting. Review and develop BAM UK&I Division’s indirect tax policies and process documentation. Oversee the preparation of and review of Irish and UK indirect tax returns prepared by the shared services team. Provide indirect tax guidance and support to various stakeholders across the business, including the UK and Ireland and ensure guidance is consistently applied across the organization. Advise on the indirect tax implications of business transactions involving multiple jurisdictions (for example, EU and third country cross border indirect tax issues, including customs duties). Manage indirect tax communications with the Irish Revenue and HMRC. Provide indirect tax advice on business transformation projects as required. Closely monitor and respond appropriately to material Irish Government policy and legislative developments, ensuring implications are fully understood by stakeholders. Play an active role as a member of the global tax team within the relationships of the group entities. Partner with UK&I FP&A, business finance, legal, Treasury, accounting, and other functions to communicate, execute, protect, and fund various initiatives which aim to ultimately maximize cash for the Division and Group. Collaborate and input into Irish tax advisory projects with the Group Tax Team. Responsibilities Demonstrate a proven track record of delivering environmental improvements within the sector and associated trades.     Overview Building a sustainable tomorrow. We are recruiting a Project Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor to join our building project at ATU Donegal on a 4 month FTE. The role of the Project HSE Advisor is to guide, support and advise Project Managers and other relevant personnel on the setting up, implementation and continuous maintenance of HSE systems and standards on site in accordance with BAM Safety and Environmental Management Systems. Responsibilities Promote safe working practices and ensure the implementation of company HSE policy and procedures on site. Carry out regular site HSE inspections and report back findings to relevant personnel. Ensure that the project has been provided with the relevant HSE documentation. Ensure that HSE project plans meet company standards. Ensure that HSE issues are discussed at project review meetings. Keep and maintain clear records to comply with company internal and external audit standards. Assist site managers and sub-contractor owners with risk assessments and sub-contractor evaluations and documentation review when requested. Deliver HSE training where appropriate and as agreed with the Project Manager. Keep up-to-date on Health, Safety and Environmental legislation. Communicate Demonstrate and Promote BAM HSE ethos, values and concepts. Become a Role Model for Safe Behaviour. Carry out other relevant duties as required from time to time. Liaising with the relevant legal authorities (i.e. H.S.A, EPA etc.). Knowledge of all legal requirements especially in regard to the PSCS role and duties. Ensure all accidents and dangerous incidents are thoroughly investigated and reports provided to the HSE & Sustainability Manager detailing causes, conclusions and recommendations to avoid recurrence. Provide the HSE Department with relevant HSE information on a quarterly basis. Who we are looking for Level 7 qualification in Health and Safety. 3 years successful postgraduate experience in Project HSE Management. Thorough knowledge of ISO: 45001 and ISO: 14001 standards. Working towards graduate membership of IOSH. Ability to deliver internal Health and Safety management courses. Ability to advise on HSE issues on a day to day basis on site.
