Relevant Degree or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent. Ideal candidate will have 2+ years previous planning experience. Proven experience in a planning role in the building construction industry (main contractor experience preferred). Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and lead times. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to take a multi-disciplined approach to building projects. Be technically oriented and fully conversant in drawings, specs., BOQs, critical path programming, network analysis, etc. Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a fully integrated team is essential. Detail oriented with strong organisational skills. Proactive and solution focused approach.
