About The Team The Quality & Inspection team is responsible for processes and procedures related to Baker Hughes Quality & Inspection steps within the site and to and from internal and/or external customers/suppliers. Partner with the best The Incoming Inspector will be reliable, self-motivated & reactive, and work on their own or with others to meet deadlines. Duties include tasks related to inspecting certified raw material and in-house production parts. As an Incoming Inspector, you will be responsible for: Performing visual, dimensional, and functional inspection of raw material using a wide variety of applicable instruments and equipment (example magnifying lamp, microscope, vision inspection system, callipers, etc.) to ensure conformance with design specifications. Performing verification of receiving documents against the engineering drawings to ensure requirements are met. Reviewing, follow and perform job functions in compliance with work instructions and adherence with Standard Operating Procedures, including recording traceable information on company software. Control inventory to ensure appropriate storage conditions and movement, as well as ensuring correct labelling of product status. Ad-hoc duties, including work area housekeeping, attend training for new processes and procedures. The role of a calibration technician is multifaceted and includes, but is not limited to, collaborating as part of a team to support the assembly, conduct Factory Acceptance Testing, and carry out ISO17025 calibration for our measurement equipment. This equipment is integral to the energy and technology industries. As a calibration technician, you will be responsible for: Working on a wide variety of Gas & liquid measurement devices, both wetted and clamp on. Mechanical assembly of master build and sub-assemblies from engineering drawings. Ensuring all systems and assemblies meet high-quality standards and are assembled per sales order/project requirements. Testing of integrated electro-mechanical assemblies using custom in-house loops and equipment. Providing support and utilizing fault-finding skills in communication with Technology and Engineering departments. Occasionally traveling to offsite calibration facilities. Inspecting mechanical assemblies, functional testing of metering systems, and calibration of assembled meters. Valuing health and safety in the workplace and maintaining strong HSE practices.
