  • Account Manager - North West  

    - Galway

    We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our Distribution team in the Northwest. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering strong sales performance and high‑quality outcomes for our customers, partners and wider business. You’ll take ownership of a panel of intermediary relationships across the Northwest (Sligo and Donegal), driving growth across core product lines while maintaining excellent service and retention levels. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you’ll identify opportunities to expand our presence, support business development, and ensure all activity is aligned with our regulatory and customer commitment standards. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with a panel of intermediaries to deliver agreed sales, conversion and retention targets. Identify growth opportunities by understanding intermediary and customer needs and developing new business across the region. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver consistent, high‑quality outcomes for customers and partners. Maintain a strong understanding of market dynamics, including competitor propositions and pricing. Ensure all activity is aligned to regulatory requirements, risk frameworks and Customer First principles. Skills & Experience QFA qualified with strong knowledge of the Irish Life & Pensions market. Proven experience managing intermediary or broker relationships, ideally within a field‑based role. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to deliver against sales and growth targets. Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, with a customer‑focused approach. Ability to work within governance and compliance frameworks, demonstrating accountability and ownership.
